So my wife had an interesting theory concerning Wiccan and the new speedster they found in the latest issue of Young Avengers.
(spoiler space)
They're Scarlet Witch's children.
One is a silver-haired speedster, with molecular control powers, a la Vision. One is a magic-wielder. They're twins. One's name is William, the other Thomas. Seems like a pretty solid theory to me. What say you?

well it is obvious that that is what is implied. Either they have learned form DC about giing Red herrings. Or it is going to be the way the bring Wanda back ie that is hwere she put her powers

But have they actually established that Young Avengers is part of the mainstream Marvel U? They dont really interact with anyone other then the Avengers and its not the wole team. Nothing that has happened in YA has had any real effect on the rest of the Marvel U and he charactrs that have interacted with the team havent done anything that would definately place them in the Mainstream universe. Plus that whole thing at the beginning with if Young Kang remained in the present would mak ethings change liek it did, thats not how tiime travel works int he Marvel U. Changing something in the past wont suddenly reorganise the pressent. Its the multiverse. A divergent timeilne gets created.
Since the kids were Wandas & VISIONs, that could be a link. If Wiccans has a link to Wanda, one of them could have affected reality to make the boys real or something. They were just conjurations of Wandas in the first place. She could have brought them back into existence, but they werent really living people.

Is there anything in the Wanda / Wiccan meeting a few issues back? Where she sits with him and inspires him to be a hero? (And here he says "You're my favorite avenger."
This theory holds water, but if this is true, why did wanda go nuts pre-HoM about her kids if they really existed?

Wanda did kinda know that Wiccan had powers. Sorta, if you think about it.
She went nuts in Disassembled before House of M about the kids, and created them then too. They could have been created then or something. Time doesn't fit with it though.
Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone.
Not only do you have the power similarity to go on, but if you notice in Issue 10, when the kids are in Avengers Mansion, they are standing in front of a picture of a group of Avenegers. Wicccan is standing by himself standing in from of Wanda.
I like the way they are connecting the kids to the history of the Avengers. Now they only need a link to "Hawkingbird."
Every relationship is fundamentally a power struggle, and the individual in power is whoever likes the other person less.

Well, "Hawkingbird" isn't a part of the Avengers failsafe program so she may not be linked to the Avengers at all...
I am so buying that Scarlet Witch theory, it's so blatantly obvious... I'm just wondering how they'll explain what Bendis wrote and what Heinberg seems to be writing (Bendis had Dr. Strange say that Wanda's kids weren't real, right? I don't have the last issue of Disassembled)...
I'm so glad I picked this book up, the waits are long but at least they're coming up with quality issues...

The boys arent real. That was shown over a decade ago. She supposedly got pregnant by Vision with the help of her Hex powers. I dont care how much probability manipulating there is. VIsion is an android/synthoid and had no human bodily fluids. It just couldnt happen.

Has Marvel shown Wanda with her powers post House of M? If she is one of the mutants who lost her powers its possible before she lost her powers and took them from all the other mutants she created her children again, however now that her powers are gone theres no way to undo it.
Theres only one Return, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi.

They are the children of Vision and Scarlet Witch....Young Avengers is before House of M happened. So this theory is way off.
doesnt that dude have super speed too? isnt quicksilver depowered now also? isnt that a bit interesting? she took her brother's power away and gave it to a maybe faker son?

But the Vision was disassembled before all of that. .... I think I'm missing something. But, I think I know who the real father is, it's Captain Marvel, with the Emperior's daughter, in the library, with some "cosmic awareness of love" tossed in. Errr.... somethign like that.
