I have a question about Siphon Power and any wild card teams. Can you Siphon Power one of your opponents character and then have all your wild cards to copy the copied ability? For example could you Siphon Power Mystic and give it to all you other Wild Cards?

No. From the DC errata:
A character with Siphon Power may not have the team ability it is using copied by wild card characters.
A character with Siphon Power may not have the team ability it is using copied by wild card characters.
What the ####?
That doesn't make any sense at all.
The point of Siphon power was to steal a team ability-basically you change your team ability from wildcard to other. Therefore, wildcard team-mates have another team at their disposal.
I can understand unable to copy non-copyable teams, but this doesn't make any sense whatsover.
Wow, 20 points to change your team ability from a wildcard to something else for no other reason than to not have wildcard? Yeah, ####ing brilliant.
Eh . . .
I have no sekrets, I just am.

It makes perfect sense, actually. Wildcards must have access to someone that legitimately posseses the TA in order to copy it. Say, for example, you have two Wildcards on your team. During a turn, one WC was copying Mystics and the other WC was copying something else (doesn't matter what... say Batman, just for kicks). Then, during that turn, the Mystics character (the actual Mystic, not the WC copying Mystics) is KO'd. Per the Icons wildcard rules, the Mystics-copying WC still can use the Mystics TA until it decides to copy something else. The other WC, though, can not use Mystics anymore; there is no longer a Mystic on the board to copy the TA from (just a WC using Mystics which is not the same thing).
Same idea here, only the Siphon Power character can copy opposing TAs. It still doesn't actually have the opposing TA, so there is nothing there for the other WCs on its team to copy.

You are still a wildcard; in fact, you are a wildcard that can copy any copiable TA on the board (not just your own). The only real change is that you can only copy a TA at the beginning of each turn, so no more switching around 7 times in a turn to fight off every possible contigency.
Is it worth 20 points... well, maybe, maybe not. But is useless? Certainly not.
Normalview, Siphon Power is a feat card with wording exactly the same as or only slightly differently wording with these feat cards: Fantastic Four, The Society, Thunderbolts, and Alpha Flight.
If a Wildcard can copy the alternate team ability provided by those 4 feat cards, then Wildcards should be able to copy the alternate team ability granted to the character with Siphon Power. There is nothing in the text that specifically excludes this; rather it is a ruling that now illogically causes Siphon Power to work differently from the other feat cards with the same or very close to the same language.
Hence, a larger FAQ, and confusion...for no reason.
FYI...from a ruling standpoint, of course everything Normalview stated is dead on.
Basically your Wildfire legion can pay 20 points to copy copiable TAs from the other force (once per turn at the beginning of a turn) while the rest of your Legion theme team sits around wondering what they spent all their points on their nifty TA for...

Except that it is basically a super wildcard TA... and when was the last time MoD could copy Spider-man Ally?
Yes, I realize nothing in the card specifically says you can't do this, but a little bit of logical applied to the normal wildcard rules goes a long way here.

But MoD CAN copy Spidey Ally strictly from a rules standpoint.
To take it a step further though, in this case Spidey Ally has become Siphon Power.
Here's how I laid it out on WK, and no one except for TechGOD responded to the Siphon Power thread any further (lol although not strictly because of my fiery intellect...more likely because I was reanimating a thrice-beheaded, perforated by .50 cal bullet horse )
Given that the wording of all the feats that create an "alternate team ability" share exactly or very similar language, why can Vet Doc Doom:
copy LE Sue Storm's 19 Defense,
copy the Mystics TA Moon Knight is Thunderbolting this game,
copy Barbara Ann Minerva Society "Outwit dodge",
but he CAN'T copy Wildfire's new TA that allows him to copy opposing TAs once per turn at the start of the turn?
You, me and others know WHY he can't, but that doesn't mean the ruling shouldn't be reconsidered so that Siphon Power functions like the other feat cards it is modeled after.
If some people could playtest this at home or run a scenario allowing it the work the way we think, maybe we can provide some proof and push to get the mechanic changed. worth a shot right?
It could turn out to be game-breaking powerful and needs that errata in place to keep it in check. Who knows?
