As they tried to blink away the disorientation X-Factor were assaulted by bricks and rotten fruit.

“Go back where you came from mutie!” yelled a voice.

“We don’t want your kind here filth!” screamed another.

X-Factor looked around; they were encircled by human supremacists, all angry faces and hateful placards.

Callisto hissed at them like a cornered animal, this obviously wasn’t her first experience with an angry mob. She clenched her new knives tightly, ready to kill if she had to.

Havok was about to call for calm when the crowd parted to let people in powered armor through. Their armor was marked ‘Knights of Humanity’, and they were different colors. Red, orange, green, blue, even a female form in stars and stripes. As they watched the blue armored Knight began to shrink, and the Knights charged at them screaming oaths.

“This…this isn’t right I..,” Psylocke clutched her head and faltered.

“Bishop, Dazzler, Nightcrawler, protect Psylocke,” ordered Havok, “the rest of you, let’s show these racist scum what X-Factor can do!”

Green Lantern wasted no time, taking flight and sending a barrage of green darts through the air to clip several of the guns before taking swipes at the soldiers with a ring-made baseball bat.

“Wait,” Flash exclaimed. “Shouldn’t we try and figure out what’s happening?”

“What’s to figure out,” Lantern laughed. “They’re Nazis, we’re the good guys - let’s beat the tar out of ‘em! I’ve wanted to kick ratzi tail since I was a kid!”

"No, Flash is right," Atom said. "Something about this isn't right - we need to pull out and think this through."

"You two think too much," Lantern said, blasting away. "You gotta trust your gut and stop listening to your mind all the time. We're the good guys, they're the bad guys, and we don't have time for 'diplomatic negotiations.'"

“Either way, we have no choice,” Wonder Woman said, her hands a blur as she deflected bullets with her bracelets. “We must defend ourselves.”

“Leave one conscious,” Aquaman called, exchanging blows with a particularly large fighter. “We’ll need to get some answers.”

While the League dove into action, the Atom shrank down to microscopic size to take in the battlefield. Something about this wasn’t right, but he couldn’t put a finger on it.

As the light disappeared the members of Alpha Flight were looking over to some very colorful figures standing to the side in front of them.

One was dressed like that guy from the 'America wants you' posters. To his side was a woman that must have gone to the same tailor as she was adorned in a similar motif.

As they looked on Wade couldn't help but stare at woman in green..................her costume, or lack there-of barely covering some of her finer..........um.....assets.

In front the figure hovering with his arms crossed wore a distinctive golden helmet as he looked down at smaller figure dressed in Red with yellow stripes as bees seemed to hover around them.

As Sasquatch was trying to get Wade to focus on the situation he looked over to Eugene, "What do you think? They definitely are colorful."

"My name is Eugene Judd and as member of Alpha Flight. On behalf of the Canadian Government we'd like you to identify yourself and stand down."

"Especially you in the green!." added Wade.

Northstar slugged him in the shoulder, "Not now, Wade."

Mr. Terrific couldn't believe those figures they saw coming out of the remains of the museum. "This 'wrecking crew' doesn’t even try to deny it."

Hawkgirl moved closer to Carter, "Guess they've never heard of us." shaking her head at the absurdity of the whole situation.

Carters expression turned even more grim, "We're the Justice Society of America and we're going to make you pay for your actions here today."

While the others seemed occupied with challenging the other group rather than focusing on the bizarre events that were happening around them, Dr. Fate felt ...........something. He couldn't quite put his fingers on it but he felt that it was too important to ignore.


As Jack started to line up with the rest of the team Fate's hand on his shoulder stopped him. "Something wrong?"

Fate was honest, "I'm not sure. But I felt something the moment we arrived her and it concerns me. With your permission I would ask that you stay with me as I can use you cosmic rod as a focus to help uncover this hidden secret. "

As Eugene heard the 'Freedom Fighters' talk about 'ending the Canadian oppression that had crowded their borders for far too long' he sensed that something was........ wrong. It was one of his feelings again. Several life times worth of poking into the supernatural and mystical energies had attuned Eugene to more than his eye's could see.

He looked over to Walter, "You're good to handle this, eh?"

Walter was a little confused, "Sure............why? Where are you going?"

Puck pointed at A.J., Jean-Paul, and Kyle, "You guys are with me." Looking back at Walter, "I want to check on something............I've got a feeling."

"Yeah, I've got a feeling too," Added Deadpool under his breath, "I've got a feeling about that lady in the green........."

Black Adam still with his arms crossed hovered closer, "Yes, I wait to hear from our esteemed leader with bated breath!"

Hawkgirl flew in between Adam and Terrific "Spare the sarcasm, sunshine. So Pieter, err, what is the plan?"

Mr. Teriffic had made the decision, "Given the circumstances, I don't see where we have much choice. If our hosts are looking for a fight we'll give them one!"

As the group rushed them Deadpool pulled one of his sword in his right hand, "Oh, happy day! She's coming right for me!"

Lil cracked her knuckles in anticipation, "Finally less talking more action."

Walter was already starting to concentrate into his battle form, "By the numbers boys and girls. We don’t know anything about them. Be prepared for surprises."

One thing I don't get - I was led to believe I'd be fighting the Wrecking Crew but who was Alpha Flight supposed to think the JSA are?

oh, & I'm currently rolling w/ Vet Hawkman. Too many pts for him.

You can use any level of the figure that you have unlocked Ozy, unless you don't want to................I'd just feel bad if you went in to the game short handed when you don't have to.(ie: I've unlocked LE Sasquatch but I'm still using the Rk Sasquatch)


The Freedom Fighters..............nothing like a little oppression from Unlce Sam.

Hehe it's a good thing the JSA has no clue who the wrecking crew is too... I mean even so Wrecker flying at them at hypersonic speeds is sure to be off putting.

I'll give it a shot but please be patient w/ me. I usually play on real maps at home. Whare are the destroyed bldgs? ?

Hawkman can sit it out.

LMK if any of these map assumptions are incorrect:
The only hindering terrain are the flora, the boat & the log in D17. The dock & path are clear.
The squares that contain less than 50% water are clear terrain. Those that contain over 50% water are water terrain.
O7, the top of the stairs, is elevated terrain. P7 is the bottom of the stairs.
