Will be playing in a 1200 pt, No fig under 100 pts, and no galactus or Spectre and no dupes.

So should I use here?

1000 pts + 200 other figs
800 + 400
600 + 600

or just go with
Ares
Superman
Darksaid
Dr Doom
ECT....

Any team ideals would be welcomed

watch out for power dampening field, it'll reduce your multi-attack damage to two per shot

Why don't you come up with something more original. That would be my suggestion. Oh I can't play Galactus or Spectre so I'll play DP.....BORING

i have only used her once at ### 1000 pt level and it was alot of fun, ### total was 1500 so she had adiquite back up, that was theam apropiate. I would run her if i where you, make a solid team and use her to fill out points.

all threee finals i got to with her i was handly beaten by big G.

oh and Komixfrk75 she is not boreing when you get to play her rarely heck i cant even get to play her at my venue cause of ### big g threat. She can be used in a theamatic and creative team if you put your mind to it. Especally with ### 600pt level.

I have no problem with people who want to play those figs...Hell you bought them you should be able to play them. But ### difference is these figs shouldn't be allowed in a tourney for a LE. I have seen them get ugly. Now a fun senerio when it's just a bunch of people playing for fun go nuts. But there is nothing I hate worse then in a 1000 point tourney someone coming in with Galactus and putting ####### around him.

While I agree that using Galactus and the Spectre in a tourney is pretty much like shooting fish in a barrel, DP is fun to field. I'd take her to a competition, especially with all of the V Black Adam, FF Sue Storm Turtle, and V Icons Supes teams out there. Jean Grey Phoenix, on the other hand, does not pack the same punch.

One of judges out my way loves those high point games, but he limits Big G/Spectre to the only fig on the team and makes sure that they would be playing those figs with a 200 point deficit. He also limits Big G to only 2 actions. So, most ppl who have him don't bother playing him because, well they don't wanna lose I guess?!
As for Dark Phoenix, man, I cheated once (unknowingly) and played Shellhead on her and that's the only time she has ever won a match. Otherwise her defense isn't high enough and she gets cut down pretty quick by the regular power figs.
Heck I beat a DP with a ####ty Xmen theme team before. Go rookie Colossus!!!.

So I say, play the DP, and give her some friends to keep her alive. I might suggest Nova or Silver Surfer, you could push about the board madly! Plus u can legally put Shellhead on either of those 2 figs.

I might use a 600 point DP and spend the rest on other figs. You could easily fit a Superman in there. Or you could even go with a X-Men theme. It depends on your playing style.

So rate this team. As you can see I am going with some Mystic damage do to support will be hard to come by in this tournament.

Looks pretty good -Rasputin also has MC and almost a full dial of PB so that will help against the big guns you'll be going up against.
Loki hstarts with PC and then gains OW and Perp, as well has having lots of clicks of PB

Should be pretty good, and as you said support is out (most of the figs in this cost range have support on their fianl clicks so you can not count on them even surviving to support anyone.

Good luck - I am tying to build several teams 1000 points/no fig <100 for a friendly get to gether. One of the teams I will build will be a DP team -probably 600 + support as 800 would allow only 1 other fig.
