JSA Classified #11 - Rated 8 - More on the history of Vandal Savage and Green Lantern. Savage is dying faster than expected and starts to put his plans into motion. Meanwhile, the Original Sandman (no, not the Endless) shows up to impart some knowledge to GL. Whats it all mean? No idea. Tune in next issue. Another good JSA issue.
Justice #5 - - Rated 9 - Finally the heroes start to strike back. Wonder Woman gets the upper hand vs Cheetah. Cap Marvel shows up and saves Superman. Supes take him to meet Batman to find out why Bats hasn't been helping. Bats tries to kill Supes but is taken down, Turns up Bats has some "worms" in him controlling his mind! And so does Superman! Uh oh. Also we see Elongated Man (and Sue!) AWesome art. The Shazam! bit was great.
Robin #149 - Rated 8 - Robin breaks into the Gotham PD to get CAssys costume to find out whats going on. To bad he gets caught and has to fight his way out. He later talks to Shiva who tells him that it seems the League of Assassins is apart of it. Not to mention that Nyssa has been killed (where did that happen?) He soon decodes a note that says Cass is a prisoner and will die unless Robin comes alone to meet them... good stuff so far. I hope Cass is okay.
Birds of Prey #93 - Rated 8 - Shiva and the girls get the Crime Docs daughter into thier protection but soon after are attacked by HIVE. Huntress is busy guarding the wounded Doc but is also attacked by HIVE. When she finally gets to the Docs room he is gone. Turns out Prometheus has him.. uh oh. Meanwhile, we see Dinah is still training in the villiage. It would seem her and Shiva made a deal, that each will "change lives" for a time. Thus why Shiva is a BoP and Dinah is training... with Shiva's mom.

This was my only DC read and it was fantastic. I thought that Captain Marvel stole the show. One thing I liked, is the way Jean Loring acted with the Atom lying in the hospital. Kind of brought back the eerie scenes from Identity Crisis. Seeing Ralph and Sue together was touching. Definitley feels like the series took an upward swing with this issue>looks like the it has hit the fan. Great stuff!
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
Cool, I was wondering how Supes was gonna get out of that jam. I thought that Parasite was gonna turn on the others and want to continue feeding off Supes.
I gotta pick this up.
You will kneel before me Jor-el, If not you than your heirs.
i might have to start reading justice. i read issue one and i loved it but i got impatien waiting two months for an issue so i forgot about it....i'll have to collect it now..... (shrugs at the though of collecting the first couple of issues)
Manolo Meza, using my account to show trader rating for funko group.
LOVE Justice. Wished it came out more often, but what can you do.
Didn't expect to see anyone outside the "superfriends" so Cap wasquite a shock. LOVED seeing superman taken down so efficiently. I mean he was spanked, and it was done by the numbers.
Normally There are so many flaws when Supes goes down, but I didn't see any problem with this. Any one of them could have given superman a run for his money, but all four? Stealing his power and hitting with Green K? while Bizzaro pounds him? truly one of the only "deathtraps" he's ever been in that I was a little concerned
Well, that same issue you saw Elongated Man (not a Superfriend) long before Cap showed up. Did Ralph shock you too?
A little, but he didn't do anything. Also after Indentity Crisis, and 52 I'm a little more used to seeing him, like they really want to push the character. Calling in the reserves is more of surprise than I was expecting.
yeah, but in KC, they were more like the worms used in Star Trek 2. In Justice, they are more like nanobots coursing through a person's blood stream.
Ah, ok. I read the story when it came out, a friend of mine had it, trying ot get me to start reading DC again, since I moved away, I dont' have access to a copy.
I'm Loving this JSA:Classified arc. Moore's capturing Savage's character perfectly. The Savage vs. Gentleman aspect of his personality works much better here than when they tried the same thing with Hawkman. THis one was a little slower than the first, but I can't wait to see Savage's "trap" next issue.
Superboy-Prime bumped his elbow on a door jam yesterday. Since then ALan's had an eyepatch, the Cyborg's a closet transvestite and Batman's son is back in continuity.

That nutty Superboy....
No, that's not Batman's son, that's his daughter, that bump from SB caused her to be a lil confused is all.
