I've been trying to put together a Suicide Squad team for a casual 300 point game, given the figures I own, while also trying to keep it mostly in theme. The best I've come up with is:
V Enchantress 76
V Killer Frost 75
E Deadshot 50
+ Trick Shot 20
U Captain Boomerang 78
299 Total
BFC: Poor Teamwork or Rally
On paper, it looks okay, with a nice range of abilities, lots of multiple targets, decent range, and mostly in theme. I just can't help feel it needs some fine tuning (other than adding a Lian Harper pog). Any potential here, or should I go back to the drawing board? What kind of fight can this team put up?
Making a team of mostly ranged fighters is always risky, especially since you have little anti-stealth - if Deadshot is taken out, or if his RCE is Outwitted, a stealth team could rip you to pieces. I suggest you add a close combat piece to the mix - with tight points I'd probably go with E Vixen with Pounce.
Personally, I like to use Roy Harper Jr on my Suicide Squad teams - he's cheap and can deal a lot of damage, and somewhat thematic since he worked for Checkmate. Checkmate agents and Medics are decent fillers as well...
I would also suggest using some pogs to take advantage of the TA. There were a lot of supporting characters in the book... a mechanic, Amanda Waller, and a couple others for sure.
Also, as far as your original team goes, if you are set on playing Trickshot, then I would play Vet Deadshot and drop Killer Frost down to the Exp. The Vet Deadshot has 5 clicks of RCE and 2 running shot, as well as adding another 10AV to start with AND an extra click of life. Killer Frost definately has an increase in abilities with the increased range and targets, but she still has the same number of clicks.
I also recommend Vixen with Pounce, especially after the CR rule change. If she Pounces on her 1st click, her 2nd click leaves her at a 9AV with Damage 2 w/ CCE and her DV is 16 with CR (18 against Close Combat). With her plasticity and/or L/C, she will most likely be able to get away to a pushed pog too, to heal up to the start and do it again.
Also, some other characters that would be appropriarte and have been part of the Squad:
Arthur Light LE (his pulsewave would help against your lack of Outwit)
Penguin
Poison Ivy
Manhunter
Silver Swan
Cameron Chase/DEO Agent
Captain Cold
Black Adam
Arsenal (but I would play Roy)
Shade
Oracle

Two figs I'd consider Using would be BlockBuster Rookie and Persuader(really any version works).
Their ability to punish up-close should balance out all the range you have.
Other than that the only suggestion I have would be Thunderbolts. This could be used to "Proxy" a more accurate version of a fig, or stand in till one is made.
