I played in a tournament last week and a query came up that, for the sake of speeding the game up, we had to throw a die to determine how we would play it (big fan of using that mechanic to ensure there are no 10 minutes rules debates in the middle of a game).
This is the problem:
1. Darkness was in play, therefore reducing all powers that affect another target up to 10 spaces away down to 6 spaces.
2. I wanted to TK my Spider-man more than 6 spaces.
3. The logic was that reduced powers that AFFECT other targets up to 10 spaces away but as Telekinesis allows you to move a character to a spot 10 spaces away, that is legal.
4. My opponent disagreed, stating that the IDEA is that it limits all ranges to 6.
I agree with him on that point but I was exploiting a problem with the wording on the card and without access to an FAQ, we couldn't check.
Just in case this ever comes up again, I would like an official ruling.

I'd like an official ruling also, but as far as I am aware you can only TK 6 spaces with Darkness in play.
