While looking at the rip it up feat an interesting combo came to mind, and im am trying to find out if it would be considered legal.

Rip it up grants a light object token and I was wondering if an object from one of the special object packs could be given. Specifically wondering about the desk because of the plus 2 defense it could provide for everyone on your force with super strength.

The object rules that the objects are treated exactly like the small object tokens but I am wondering if this has been errata'd or even ruled on.

Nope. They must be given a normal light object token , not a 3-D object, which isn't a token.
