I has a somewhat absurd (in my opinion anyway) ruling against me today, and thought I’d come here and see if I was right.

I had Nimrod on an elevated corner and wanted to Pulse Wave against a Brainiac on the ground. The Brainiac was in a direct diagonal, and I had perfect line of sight to him. I was, however, told that Pulse Wave from an elevated source doesn’t affect figures on the ground, regardless of LOS.

Is this right? I can’t find anything anywhere (nor could the judge) that says elevated characters using Pulse Wave won’t hit characters on the ground. In fact, it defies logic. Yet, for reasons not quite clear to me, it was ruled this way.

you're right....PW does affect the grounded figures no matter where.

As long as you can draw Line of Fire and the target is in range, you can Pulse Wave his ### off...
