Tomorrow, Saturday May 6th is Free Comic Book Day (number 5)!

Go to a comic store and they give you free stuff!

And before you think this should get shipped off to Another Realm-

They also give you free Wolverine Heroclix!!! Sweet!

If you are in Toronto, come to Comics & More on the Danforth

I will be there, handing out goodies and Wolverines (if you're nice...and they arrive on time)

How about if I move it to the front page?

Also, you can call 1-800-comicbook to find a comic store near you!

Before we get jumped upon

- we just want to point out that none of these free items (comics, clix, etc) are actually free- your retailer paid money for them.

-and while it is a nice gesture and a thank-you to the community for supporting these retailers- its intention is also to grow the industry-

-therefore do your retailer a favour-
1) Bring a friend, acquaintance, family member and expose them to the world of comics and clix.
and/or
2) Buy something different- Don't just stand hands out in gimme mode.

No we do not own a brick and mortar store- though in the past.....

and by the way- FCBD Wolverines have shipped from Diamond Distributing- so any comic store that is getting any should have had them on Wednesday.

It's Saturday May 6th and don't forget to mention the Free comic book Day Wolverine!

I dropped by my local shop on Wednesday and he gave me one of each while I was riffling thru back issues.

Of course, I'll still be taking my son with me on Saturday so he can pick out a comic book for himself... and I'll likely pick up a few more comics for myself.

I got the white shirt Wolvie on Thursday from the venue i play at, our group has been loyal customers and whatnot so the owner was like you guys get prioty over walk ins, Sweetness

sux only palce i know of that sells comics isnt listed on the locator...typed in 3 differ zipcodes and nothing...

Free comic book day is awesome.
