“It still gets to me how empty the cities can be,” Shadow Lass said as a group of Legionnaires flew over Neo Metropolis on Earth. The buildings soared into the sky, multi-tiered streets winding through vast canyons of slick, sleek cityscape - but every street was empty, and every window was day-tinted.
“It’s the way it is, these days,” Cosmic Boy said. “It was Earth who started the trend, but a lot of planets have picked it up. With all the ways of connecting digitally or through sublight transcoms, nobody needs to go anywhere or actually see anybody. It’s like all the new ways we came up with to better communicate ensured that nobody actually communicates anymore.”
“It’s a far more efficient system,” Brainiac 5 said. “Personal interaction requires more time and energy expenditures. Use of digital media for all communications increases productivity significantly.”
“And I guess there’s nothing to be said for some fracking socializing, yeah?” Wildfire said, shaking his head. “Not everything boils down to numbers, Brainy.”
“Actually it does,” the Coluan said flatly. “And the numbers in this instance support your hypothesis, though I credit it to long odds that after spouting so much ignorant filth even a kowakian monkey lizard would come up with a good idea once.”
“Could we go back to the part where I’m right?”
“Without adequate interpersonal relations, to say nothing of the requirements of exercise for the humanoid physique, the systems of education, language, and interaction will begin to break down. If this fad of non-confrontation continues, it’s likely that global economics will crash within three generations. Of course, that’s after the creation of several sublanguages and the necessitation of personal fitness equipment that keeps the body fit while preventing excessive movement.”
“Whatever,” Shadow Lass shrugged. “I just think it’s a fracked-up way to live, cloistered away in your little apartment with no personal contact with the outside world.”
They flew in silence for a short while before they neared their destination. A trail of smoke rose into the noonday sky, and the Legionnaires followed it to its source. At the center of one of the larger regional governmental plazas, this one belonging to continental political leaders and federal agencies, a group of young beings was sewing chaos in the streets.
“Bring it down, Blok,” a woman in a shiny silver outfit cried out. “This idolatry of the government must end, and it starts today!”
A huge mass of stone moved, and the Legionnaires realized it was a sentient being made of rock. It swung a massive arm and broke through huge chunks of masonry. A very young looking boy stepped up and raised his hands, emitting a blast of cold that slowly began freezing the foundations of the building solid. As it froze, Blok swung its fists, demolishing the steel as the cold made it ever more brittle.
“Stop this, now!” Cosmic Boy called out as they flew in from above. He could see the bodies of many Science-Police officers, and knew that this situation would only get worse if they didn’t step in.
“Oh, man,” said a blonde boy in a green and yellow uniform. “It’s the Legion! The real deal Legion! Oh, what an honor!”
“Wha-huh?” Wildfire said, completely confused by the sudden turnaround as all the others looked toward the arriving Legion members with awe.
“What are you people trying to do, here?” Cosmic Boy asked. “You’re going to kill people, if they haven’t died already…”
“Not real people,” the girl in silver said with a smile. “Only politicians. Adults, you know? The overagers have had us under their thumb long enough, and now it’s time we shut them down - Legion-style!”
“Hold the com!” Shadow Lass blurted out. “This is NOT the Legion’s style! We’re heroes, not vandals and psycho-killers!”
“We’re only doing what we have to,” the youngest boy said, not looking like he was totally sure of himself. “We have to do this, or else nothing will ever change.”
“You never have to kill people,” Cosmic Boy said. “You have to stop this crazy sprock now, or--“
“Or what?” the girl demanded. “You’ll stop us? We knew you wouldn’t be ready for this, yet, and that’s why we’re operating alone. But don’t think just ‘cause we look up to you we won’t fight you. We’re fulfilling your promise to underagers everywhere - that just because you’re young doesn’t mean you have no rights - we’re just as alive as old people, and deserve equal treatment!”
“Not like this, we don’t.” Wildfire said. “Never like this.”
“Then that’s how it has to be. I’m sorry, Legion, but this is for your own good. You’ll be remembered as Martyrs for all of us…”

I don't think Blok can make it to M19 with an 8 movement. He can make it L18. Let me know if this is cool with you. Oh and I don't think the others can move to where they're at either. All that blue is water, so they'd stop when they first hit the water. Let me know if you'd like to redo your move.
Well this villain team isn't too too weak...it can still do some damage.
And yeah Wildfire is really good. I like to play the Vet a lot in tourneys, especially since he's a wildcard...he's one of my favorite pieces.

One of the saddest part about Wizkids…is that in Singapore there is no judge or
even any tournaments and no prize support. Our request to WIzkids to appoint a
judge has fallen on death ears. Most of the HC players have moved to VS…where there are tournaments and prize support.
Man that totally sucks about not having any judges or sanctioned tournaments in Singapore. Only 2-4 players in ALL of Singapore...man, if that happened, I don't know if I'd want to play anymore either...even though I'm a collector...if nobody plays it anymore...I'd probably want to stop collecting it...it goes hand in hand for me...maybe you should email wizkids more...like every day.
oh and I think Jinx is cleared.
Turn 3B
(free) Brainy will outwit Blok's Invuln.
1. Wildfire will attack Block. AV 10 vs DV 17. Roll is 6, 6! Crit hit! Blok takes 5 clicks and is knocked back to J15. Totally wasn't expecting that.
