I hope Spidey gets killed. And I hope superheroes around the globe go nuts over it, and just beat the ever-loving #### out of Tony for it.

If that happens, I'll totally be all over Marvel once civil war is done.

That cover actualy filled me with hope as it's the classic Peter tries doing the right thing and it bites him the ### story. I'm still not convinced JMS can write a decent Spidey story even with this change though.

Wait..did I just say that outloud? Hmmm...if you're not picking up Civil War, I'd suggest it. I mean, in my opinion, it's better than anything DC's currently got going on...

Nothing could top 52 right now, IMHO. Nor could it top most of OYL books.

Understand that my want for Peter to die is not out of hatred for Spidey. I love Spidey.

But my heart breaks every time he gets screwed in life. And everyone #####es at him for it too, they refuse to remain in their capacity as understanding characters, they just lash out at him immediately, either accusing him of murder, being late, or anything else.

And quite frankly, it would be awesome if he died after the unmasking. Everyone in the Marvel universe needs a big slap in the face, because Spidey's the most selfless hero (well, besides Cap) out there, and they're all still treating him like a jackass.

I hope he either gets killed, or at the very least, hospitalized, so that all the marvel heroes treat him with some ####ing respect.

Well, I dont know about killing him. Spidey's the type of char thats been around for ages. Besides Cap America, he's the face of Marvel. I mean, it would be a slap in the face, but Spidey wouldnt let himself die. When things get tough, he unleashes a rage of power that no one's seen from him before...and since he's undergone these new changes, the powers that he would show should be outstanding.

I still dont know about killing him off. It would be a big step. I mean, it would almost be like killing off Batman. Besides Supes, he's the second face of DC.

I agree with Thawmus. You know who treats Spiderman pretty bad? Tony Stark! This guy acts like Spiderman is his personal slave. I can't wait until Spidey joins Cap's side. However, I don't think they should go to the extreme of killing him. Or maybe they could, then something having to do with House of M or Annihilation brings him back. I just don't know if I could do without Spidey.

P.S. JMS can't even come close to writing a decent story line for Spidey

P.S. (again)There we see Mac Gargan Venom again... I hate Mac Gargan Venom and I hope Spidey kills him, or Eddie Brock (the only REAL Venom) comes back and ripps off Mac Gargan's Head. Maybe even Toxin kills him or something.

I said from the beginning, that Tony seemed to have a hidden agenda when he hired Peter. People thought I was just being paranoid. Tony's bveen plahying Peter since he joined the Avengers.

Hospitalize him for months then. Let all the superheroes see what utter #######s they've been to him, and what it's cost him.

I think it would say a lot more for Spidey to start kicking ### and showing how powerful and dangerous he can be rather then to become a punching bag again. I'd rather he were respected then pitied. That being said, it's been the public and not the heroes who haven't treated Spidey with enough respect. Killling him or even messing him up in a quest for respect hardly seems logical, though it might be the status quo for some of the stories he's been getting.

don't mind me, I wanna wait to see how the Beyonder is going to affect all of this. It's a thread that will dangl from both, the Civil war storyline and the Annhilation storyline, and lead into the "Beyond" storyline coming soon after.

This could just be bigger then ya all thought, or it could be #### in totallity.

i agree with sabre. spidey gets taken advantage of from stark all the time. like the new suit thing. i just hope he teams up with cap'n in the resistence and pwns some people. but in the end, i think a fake death would be very appropriate for spidey to keep his identity a secret.
