I wan't Kitty to get to get really... angry, and kick some hellfire ###!
HELL YES!! Also in the civil war tie in of x-men, it says she's the only member left of the x-men because they split up or something(it's in marvels previews). Also who do you guys think the hooded hellfire club member is? Me, and one of the guys at my comic shop, think it's dark pheonix. What do you guys think?
Somehow I don't see Emma staying in the Hellfire Club, especially with all the hints that she purposely made sure Kitty was in the Astonishing X-Men because she saw something like this coming. I think she's just waiting for the right time to strike back...say, when a certain pissed-off X-(Wo)man decides to kick Hellfire ###.
On a smiliar note, I have to thank Joss Whedon for not only putting out the best X-book in a long time (and probably the best overall comic at the moment), but for reminding me why Kitty Pryde was and is once again one of my favorite mutants.
So, when the next issue due out?

I think Emma had to go double cross. If she didnt the Hellfire club would have destroyed her. And I think they had something to do with Xorneato. Since they made it so she could escape Genoshas destruction, what else could she do? Esp whith that Dream girl around. She should have been able to see Emma betraying them. But I remember Emma talking to someone, the club, when Kits rejoined the team and saying shed deal with her if the time comes. Does Emmas crystal form mask her from telepathy?
The selfish infect us all with sad, vulgar, sexual references and a constant barage of innapropriate innuendo. A pity to be subjected to this against our wills, but to allow it into our lives with open arms shames us all
Personally the "I'll deal with her when the time comes" line makes me think even more that Kitty was/is Emma's secret weapon for stopping the Hellfire Club. I can't really see Emma going along with the Hellfire Club's plans willingly. She's always been more about power and personal freedom than the simple "bad guy/girl" type.
She's also a plotter and planner. IF the Hellfire Club gave her the diamond form, she'd know they'd expect a favor in the future. She'd also more than likely resent having to get their help in the first place, and resent even more being expected to destroy the good thing she has going at the moment. She'd have a plan in place, most definitely. Looks like that plan is Kitty.
Of course, whether or not Kitty actually does things the way Emma thinks she will is another matter...and how the X-Men will react, after it's all said and done, to her letting the plan proceed will be worth seeing as well.

emma doesnt know what she wants, she wants to be headmaster and love scott and bla bla bla, but she still wants to be powerful and dominant, so i think she might be kindof fringe as of now, not really completely willing to go iether way.
did anybody else think this issue was way too much of a psychologic round table? like the girl that had no eyes and counlednt dry, and colosusses "therapy" with shaw (which was #####in at the end when he smacks colosus in the face) and wolverine turned into a 7 y/o and beast into "what he really is" i was dissapointed also... definately to much talk, not enough rock...
i would be P.O.ed if jean came back... i mean i love jean i think shes an awesome character but like emma said "she just would not stop dieing on you!"
Emma sure as heck does dress like a Dominatrix, so it stands to reason she likes being dominant.
Still, I like how, way back when, she was in Scott's mind playin with him, as it were, when Jean found out. She could've fried Emma then and there. I'd pick Jean over Emma anyday.
Keep Jean dead, and get Emma back to being a bad guy. Why do the X-Writers (talented and those untalented) always try to turn bad guys good. Now I do have to admit, I like Juggernaut better as a good guy (his reason for being a villian was always a little weak to me, Boo-hoo my daddy liked Chucky better than me). I always thought Juggs should have just gotten revenge on ProfX by doing jumping jacks in front of him... sorry got off subject. Anyway, I hope they turn Emma back, on average bad guys turning good just doesn't work, Sabretooth-horrible as a good guy is it really necessary to have the Made in Korea version of wolverine on a team? Mystique-great in her own series as a spy, lousy as a XTeam person. Magneto-one of the best Villians out there for the entire Marvel U, lousy as a good guy. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, maybe I'm not but I say keep the badguys on their side of things until times when there is just a larger threat.
By the way, why is Cable involved in the new Uncanny or regular Xmen stories, and why is he in CW? In his own series he's kind of doing his own thing on Graymalkin Island where he has developed a Jesus complex, is it just me or after all his preaching about how disconnected he is from everything at this time, does this just not make sense for him to become involved?
Death thunderer is akin to love making, it gets better each time.
