I was wondering if anyone has used R Iron MAn from Armor Wars succesfully?

I was just in a 100pt. iron man vs. his foes battle, and he had his behind handed to him by firebrand and ghost alone.

The only thing I've used the R succesfully for is as a mod for the new Rocket Red armor, nothing more. When a figure doesn't have the ability to hurt himself on the first click, something is wrong with that figure.

Lol. I know. He cant do any damage to his arch-enemy? WHAT?

Its my personaly opinion and even many of my friends (who mostly don't like iron man) opinions that they constantly under power ironman and warmachine in the clix realms. They never make the clix for him anywhere near as good as they should be. they are misrepresenting him in almost everyway. it seems to me that they pump up dc clix but constantly underpower marvel which i don't agree with. i mean look at sinister. out of that entire set there are one maybe 2 at most clix that have an attack value of 11 or more. thats it and its only for 1 click. there is something seriously wrong with their scales as far as the different universes.

I used R Iron Man in a battle royal once. He did well with invulnerability, which is good(IMO) in a battle royal. He was my last standing figure, but he has no damage. I used his force blast at the end(walls were closing in type of match), and it did one damge.....

R Iron Man with an Armor Piercing card is only 99 points. I used him once in an open box tourney and he got through halfway of a Vet Ulton dial. Not too shabby considering what he was up against 1 on 1.

I agree that Tony has had a hard time being cost efficient and effective. I think alot of folks would disagree with you about War Machine though. I think his clix form is rather highly regarded.

I think part of the problem is that the powers we associate with Iron Man happen to be the expensive ones. He has, and should, all the damage reducers of a standard brick, but has an arsenal of weapons and good range to boot. On top of that, he is a natural for outwit or perplex. Being a complete package has its drawbacks I suppose.

I do really look forward to the next version. I've had some luck with the AW one in big games, but would love to see WK take another crack at it.

all things said are true and he deffinatley could have been better now there is still away to use him effectivley its feats in contact with oracle helps, shellhead, armor piercing, damage shield, fortitude, thunderbolts to name a few, ultimatley a damage value of 3 or perplex on the first clix could have made all the difference.

By himself, he is rather tricky to use.

Enhancement and/or Perplex help out, as does SHIELD TA.

Feats can help make him much more viable--Feats like Armor Piercing and Nanobots really increase his playability...
