Did anyone else pick this up? It's a free introduction to a new comic company's upcoming work. I haven't read it yet, but flipping through it, it seems like they might have some interesting things to add to the Indy market.
I'll read through it and add my thoughts as I go along.
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
Viring Comics was created by Deepak Chopra (writer), Shekhar Kapur (filmmaker), and Sir Richard B.ranson (world renown millionaire). looks like filmmakers and writers will work together.
They are focusing their characters and stories on mythology and the culture of India.
Their upcoming projects include:
Devi (7/12/06)- A reinvention of the Devi goddess myths of Asia.
Ramayan Reborn (9/06)- Is a relaunch of India's greatest mythology, The Ramayan (otherwise described as the Odyessy of the East).
Snake Woman (7/19/06)
Sadhu (7/26/06)
Seven Brothers (Fall '06)- A collaboration between Director John Woo and comic writer Garth Ennis
Devi and Ramayan Reborn are the only two books previewed in the Virgin Comics #0 issue. Seven Bothers sounds a bit exciting.

Looks interesting. I went to the Virgin Comics website, and they have some good previews. Nice art on Free Issue #0. I'll check this out some more, thanks for the tip.
I've got a video game put out by Deepak Chopra where you hook up a PulseOx type of device to your fingers and control the different adventures by slowing your heartrate, increasing your mind's activity, becoming calm, etc. Very cool!

Man, thats crazy...will this lead to a new generation of gamers that sit at their computer with their legs crossed, saying 'OMMMMMM'? Cool stuff.
On the Virgin Comics website, they talked about the potential comic book market in India alone: 550 million kids under the age of 20, in the next 10 years!
