I heard somewhere that it was errated to say that if a character loses superstrength while holding a "ripped up" object, the object disappears. Such as, mach 3 running shots, rips up an object, pushes off of super strength and the object disappears.

is this true? if so, where is it listed in the errata? i can't find it.

Not from what I've heard. The object is pulled in from outside of the game, yes, but in no way does it vanish should the character drop it from losing Super Strength.

No it doesn't disappear. It just goes in the square MACH-4 was standing in when he lost Super Strength. Unless it is house ruled by your judge it stays in the game.
