1. If a character w/stealth is on a hindering terrain, can a friendly character make a ranged attack going through that character?
2. If a character w/stealth is blocked by hindering terrain, and a friendly character is taken w/ mind control, can that character make a ranged attack at the character w/stealth?

If a and b/c are opposing(b&c are on the same team),and a rolls to break away from b, can a get to o on the top right corner? Or does a have to stop in a square adjacent to c, because thats the 2nd opposing character hes come across?
Hope thats not too confusing, n sorry if these are stupid questions, im just a beginner. Thanks for the help!

No, you cannot attack through the character. In fact, outside of feats or other special circumstances such as elevated terrain, you may never make a ranged attack through another character regardless of Stealth.

Stealth blocks the line of fire from all characters, regardless of which team they're on. Although, as a side note, a Mind Controlled character becomes friendly to the side that MCed it and opposing to all other sides until it finishes its Mind Controlled action.

Assuming that the X's are the only spaces available to move into, you're right in your second question. Character A would have to stop because C is a new opposing character it moves adjacent to. The only exception would be if A was a flier. Fliers still have to break away but, other than that, they ignore opposing characters for movement purposes.

Welcome to the game, and don't worry about asking 'stupid questions' while you're still learning.
Thank you soooo much for replying so quickly!
So are you saying that if you are on the same elevation, you cant make a ranged attack through a friendly character?

hi guys
well in most case you can't but there's a little exception : Giants !
from DRRules p.49 : "Standard-sized characters do not block line of fire to or from a giant character."
So even if a giant is "hiding" behind a friendly standard-sized character, the giant character can make a ranged combat attack "through" a friendly character (but the giant character can also be ranged attacked that way).

Thanks again!
The two bolded lines below should help;

To determine if there is a clear line of fire, use any rigid, straight edge or draw an imaginary line from the center of the attacker’s square to the center of the target’s square. As demonstrated in Figure 10, the line of fire is blocked if
• the line of fire passes through a square that contains a character other than the attacker or the target (Figure 10a);
• the line of fire crosses blocking terrain (Figure 10b);
• the line of fire passes between two adjacent characters, even on an exact diagonal (Figure 10c); or
• the line of fire from a soaring attacker to a soaring target passes through a soaring character (Figure 10d).
If the line of fire is blocked, the attacker may not make a ranged combat attack against that target.
A character can draw a line of fire to itself or to the square it occupies. Grounded characters block line of fire only to other grounded characters.
So essentially, your understanding is correct.
