As I would understand it, no.
It just means you wont take the extra 2 RCE damage, but as Repulsor Shield does not cancel the ability, they can still target you using the Trick Shot card.
KILOWOG not KILOWAG, KILAWOG or KILAWAG ROGUE not ROUGE (which happens to be RED in French) GRAVITON not GRAVITRON (Decepticon that never got made?)
Are ou sure, because in te Critical Hit articel, make your own Sentry, it said it does ignore Trick Shot.
Then that would be incorrect. I haven't read the article myself, but Repulsor Shield does not cancel (i.e. Outwit) RCE. It merely prevents the character with Repulsor Shield from being hit with the +2 damage associated with RCE.
In order to use Trick Shot, RCE just needs to be on the dial; you don't even need to use it. For example, Running Shot and RCE do not work together, yet you may use Running Shot and Trick Shot (since RCE is showing on the dial at the time).
I haven't read that article, but if it does indeed say that then the article is mistaken.
The ability granted by Trick Shot is different to the ability granted by RCE. You need to have RCE in order to use Trick Shot, but you don't need to be using RCE to use Trick Shot.
Case in point: If you are making a Running Shot action (which you can't combine with RCE), you can still use Trick Shot.
Repulsor Field doesn't remove RCE from opposing characters, it just prevents them from using RCE against the protected character. It doesn't prevent them from using feats that require RCE.
Edit: normalview said exactly the same thing as me, except he was two minutes faster!
