Not a bad dial. Fits Katma faily well. The 10 range is always nice. No move/attack abilities will hinder her somewhat, but I think that first click with WP will be key to using her well. Nice that her attack value stays fairly steady with 3 10's then she moves into a support piece late-dial. Of course with phasing at the end she could always make her way back to a medic and barrier can help cover her or her teammates behind.
Great... another dead GL. Wow. I love Collectors Sets. God forbid they use some people that are alive right now.
After people moaning about making Sentry too early, I doubt WK wanted to go there again with the new Corps members. The new ones, if made accurate, shouldn't be that good anyhow, given the Parallax curse.

Please...
1. Soranik Natu would have given us at least 4 clicks of Support on a GL.
2. Salaak can hardly be considered "jumping the gun."
3. Same with Green Man
4. Same with Stel
5. EVERYONE agrees that Kilowag needed a remake.
6. Isamot Kol does not have enough back story for a REV, but shouldn't take a U.
7. Same with Vath.
Kilowag, Salaak, Green Man, Stel, Soranik Natu, Isamot Kol, and Vath. All GLC, all aliens, all alive (for now), all unlikely to be in future sets for quite some time, and all viable.
But we get 6 dead GL's and Ganthet.

We gt one DC Set per year. We have to keep the Collectors sets in line with what's going on currently, or by the time we get to the current characters, they'll be retconned out of existence, or dead. Figure we get one GL per set, which means that we'll get Guy Gardner (or Alan Scott, even though no GLC TA) next. Whichever of those we didn't get will come the year after.
So, we're looking at two years, minimum, before we get the Kilowag re-make.
I'm just saying now would have been a good time to stay current, and not waste time with daed girlfriends, the laughing stock of the GLC, the guy who's major accomplishment in the DCU was dying and handing over his ring, and Ch'p (who I actually kinda dig...).
Ganthet is the only choice that makes any sense at all.

All well and good. But you'd be okay if Natu was made with, say, an AV that dropped to a 5 or had spots of Battle Fury on her dial. If so, fine. In any case, IIRC from some comments Seth or some WK staffer made, DC wasn't in favor of having the new ones made, either. So I accept that the three rookies weren't going to get done.
No serious quarrels with Stel, Green Man or Salakk, though they're clearly lower profile guys, with one being a pencil pusher and the other two a lower priority for screen time to the rookies. I wouldn't complain if they were in the set. I'm just not seeing a distinct advantage for any of them being in the set over Arisia or Ch'p.
Not big on remakes, so I didn't want Kilowog in the set, though I agree his Unleashed version was lacking some bruiser qualities.

Hopefully the GLC set (and the monthly series) will sell well enough that WK will decide they need to go with two GLs per expansion. Guy's eventual REV could be accompanied by a U Isamot Kohl, for example.
But I suppose the real problem is how WK has chosen to stick firmly to the number seven for the collectors sets. Yeah, we were told they could be any number of figures, but we haven't seen them deviate yet. Salakk as an eighth figure would have at least completed the '86 Earth-based team. But I know better by now than to expect WK to fill out a theme or group in one shot if it takes more than three figures. F4 notwithstanding, anyway.
And also, these are important, notable GL characters. Just because they're technically "dead" in the DCU (and really, how long does death in comics ever last) should in no way affect their presence in this game. With the lead time Clix sets have, there's no way to ever be sure anything they do will be in line with comics by the time the set comes out.
I wouldn't mind seeing a more badarsed Kilowog (that's KilowOg, there's no wagging going on, but a thousand wogs), but I also like fleshing out the GL Corps, even if it's a corps from the past.

Yep. And there's quite a few resurrected GLs out there (the majority of the featured veterans in the new series, actually) to be concerned about which ones are dead at the moment.
