Here is a clix Scenario based on the zombie comics
I and a Friend came up with it, it worked quite well.
Zombie World
A reverse dial scenario created by Dalton Glass and Rich Garcia.
Premise: Based of the Marvel Zombie Comics, All the Heroes/Villains are now zombies.
Rules: The are several basic rule changes for this scenario.
1) All figures begin near the end of their dials. Based on the points below.
If a figure is for instance 3 clicks in then from his last click before the 1st KO you would click him 2 more times towards the green line, ie Reverse turn.
1-25 on last click
26-50 2 clicks in
51-100 3 clicks in
101-150 4 clicks in
151-200 5 clicks in
201-300 6 clicks in
2) Figures take damage as normal Except that they cannot be KO’d by ranged attacks So if a figure takes enough damage to KO from a RANGED attack it is instead placed on its last click.
3) There is no HEALING in the game EXCEPT for the powers/team abilities below.
Steal Energy = Works as normal and Stacks with ZWB TA
Regeneration = Treated as Steal Energy above
X-men TA = Works the same, and can KO a figure if on last click
Titans TA = Works the same, and can KO a figure if on last click
Suicide TA = Result is always 1
Support = Quake Steal Energy attack.
Mysics = Deals damage as normal except for when it would KO a figure.
Instead of KOing the figure from mystic retaliation, it Heals 1 click
4) The only way to KO a figure is to KO it with a Close Combat Attack.
When you KO a figure with a CCA, you heal an additional click, so 2 clicks total, 3 clicks if you KO a fig and have Steal Energy. If you KO a figure on a critical hit, you heal an additional click. 4 Clicks is the most you can heal on a KO.
5) If you manage to HEAL a figure to its green line, It breaks the zombie curse and runs for the hills. The figure is removed from the board and its controller gains its cost in Survivor and kill points ie. Double points for the Figure.
Example I get my 50 point figure to the green line, I remove it from play and I get the point for it as survivor and KO, or 100 points.
6) All Figures get the Zombie Want Brains TA Which grants the follwing powers.
* You always get a +1 when making a CCA, and +2 if there is a Friendly Member nearby (zombies do swarm).
* They also Gain Willpower. If a figure already has Willpower they may take a 3rd action in a row. But must Rest of the 4th round and cannot remove more than 2 action tokens from the Figure.
*You Gain Steal Energy. And thus Heal a click whenever you deliver a Click of damage from a CCA.
* As a Zombie you can always deal damage in a CCA, if you have a Damage value of 0 you can increase this to a 1 at the cost of reducing your attack value by one.
7) Different TA to hit bonuses do Stack. ZWB TA and MORLOCK or UTL X stack together for the attacks.
My advice to everyone when wanting up-to-date information on what's coming to a local area is to find out which distributor supplies your local comic shop and visit their website for a complete packing list. Websites maintained by the comic companies themselves (Marvel, DC, etc.) very frequently forget to update changes in release dates, so they frequently give out misinformation.
Our distributor is Diamond, so they're easy to get a complete shipment list from their website every week and I know exactly what to tell our store owner to hold for me. Go right to the source of the comics to the stores and you're certain to be more accurate in what you're looking for.
And, because I don't want to derail the current conversation, it's coming out this week (Wednesday).

Wolverine and the X-Men looks to be personally designed to for me, minus one glaring absence: Quentin Quire. Nevermind! All is well!
