My understanding of thunderbolts means your changing your t/a to the new ta, so basically chaning avengers into x-men, once they thunderbolted you can't go back to avengers, could be wrong there.
1. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure that Thunderbolted TAs work with the natural ones.
2. Regardless of the answer to #1, Titans and X-Men cannot use their ability on each other. Same with Defenders and JSA, and other similar TAs.
3. No, you cannot use HSS and Incap. HSS gives you a move and then a ranged or close combat attack. Incap needs a ranged or close combat action.
doc_monocle is correct on all counts. And yes, Thunderbolted TAs work with the natural ones. For proof, check out hair10's "Understanding Alternate Team Abilities" article: http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix....asp?cid=39898

Under the Danger Room rules, HSS Option # 1 is now a power action so the reason HSS & Incap don't work together isn't because of the differences between giving a figure an action and giving a figure an attack, it's now that you can't give 2 non-free actions to 1 figure in the same turn.

Actually, doc_monocle's explanation of the HSS/Incap question was right on the money.
The incompatability of HSS and Incap has nothing to do with the fact that it's now a power action and everything to do with the fact that it grants a close or ranged combat attack, while Incap requires a close or ranged combat action.
The same was true even when HSS was a move action.

No, but you may use Incap with Running Shot and/or Charge.

Once a team ability is chosen for T-Bolts, it remains for the duration of the game. However, you may choose a different TA for each game (in a multiple-opponent setting).

I understand your point but with HSS' change w/ Danger Room edition of the rules, you can simply tell someone (especially a newer player) that you can't assign 2 non-free actions to a figure on the same turn without getting into the semantics of "action vs. attack".

Yeah, but you could have told them the same thing with the Icons rules.
And if people never get clear on the whole "actions vs. attacks" wording, then they'll never understand the real reason why anything is compatible with anything else.
In fact, if I were a new player and you told me I couldn't use HSS with Incap b/c HSS is a power action and I can't assign a figure two non-free actions in a turn, I would say, "isn't Running Shot a power action, too?"
