This version is better than either the R or the E, this one can take some hits and dish out some damage. His attacks will actually land, too. The back three clicks of his dial are useless, though.... if you need to share his 14 or 15 defense, then you've already lost the game.
His largest drawbacks are a horribly bloated point cost, and a short dial.
The times I´ve used this figure, which is a lot when I´m running any sort of X-Men team, he has shown promise early on in the fight. Once he gets down to his last three clicks, theres little use for him anymore, but as a peice to push back other peices, he works wonders.
I wouldn´t suggest him for anything more than a 400pt team, any higher and he litterally runs into a brick wall against the pricer, stronger figs.
However, all around, an awesome peice to represent the Kentuckian.

Someone forgot to give him the memo that figures over 100 points ought to be able to deliver bigger damage. Cannonball completes a pretty woeful REV showing with his most expensive incarnation, sporting great speed and damage reduction but being nothing more than a pest to an opposing Invulnerable figure. A fight between two Cannonballs would be a yawnfest. I think they got him wrong - he should have had a modest speed with HSS to represent his combat style... and what's with the Defend and horrible defenses? His blast shield extended to a pal is an EXCELLENT defense... shame they chose a low-value there. A pair of 17's would have been more accurate.

Slap Armor Piercing and Damage Shield on this fig and watch him go to town! He'll base your best shooter and while that guy is flailing at him he can either clear for next turn or push to punch. Just depends on the situation.
