At one point in time this was my only Villain Character I used for TK. She does need an Upgrade. :)

Opening TK is nice, but that's it. AV is too low on the four last clicks to make SE effective.

Average figure with a decent power set.

All TKers have something unique to offer, but Black Queen's offering is Mind Control, and that doesn't really jive with her TK role because it means she needs to be in the fray making actions that are not TK. Compounding the problem, she has a load of useless Steal Energy with no combat values to make it stick. While her later versions make that front click stronger, here it just doesn't have the numbers, and there are better cheap TKers out there.

TK + Monster keyword = Awesome Sauce!

TK and monster keyword do indeed make her a regular in our venue. other than her first click she is total crap and completely unrepresentative of the character. that said, she deffinetely will get ur carnage into position to crush.

Can someone please explian why "Black Queen" does not have the Hellfire club key word yet her two other forms do?

Selene/Black Queen is an External, a long-lived...or immortal...mutant. Apocalypse is considered the first, as he's the oldest living. Gideon, Cannonball and a few others are External's as well. She's been alive a loooong time; nearly as long as Apocalypse, actually. The Rookie version doesn't have the Hellfire club keyword...because the Hellfire club didn't exist around that time. ;)

Yeah, she shoudl have been named Selene in his rookie version and black queen in his exprerienced one, to match her keyword better. The way it is, it's confusing. Still : one of the only (and the cheapest) TK available for monster theme team.

Win / Loss 5-4: The TK piece for my Marvel villain teams, Selene still has value in 2014 as the cheapest TK piece for monster keyword themed teams. No longer pushable, her values are too low for much else other than mastermind fodder, unless one gives her a Hammer - then, mayhaps...
