The best underpants-clad superhero there is! Ferocious (almost) all the way down, and I can't knock the Flurry. For those of you more concerned with Tbolts than with comic accuracy, he makes a great sigil-bearer (Crossgen), too.
Namor is an excellent flying brawler, but what makes him so different from the rest is that after the fight is underway and the dust starts to settle - he gets a deadly second wind.
This gives the Atlantean the edge in battle, because not only does his attack numbers spike upwards mid-dial, he also gains Flurry. If that's not enough for you, he has exceptional stamina thanks to three clicks of Invulnerability followed by eight more of Toughness - on a very deep eleven click dial.
150 points is pricey, but it's definitely worth the investment - especially with him having the Avengers team ability. Spend the extra points to tack on Thunderbolts, and now you can give him permanent stealth while he's moving in to set up for a charge, or Mystics to make any successful attacks on him very painful.
This is overall my favorite Namor.
Speed: Starting 10 with charge is good. Keeps charge till click 3 and gets Flurry click 5 is even better.
Attack: Starting with 11, his av stays pretty consistant all the way down, with Super Strength on his first 6 clicks.
Defense: The numbers aren't quite what I'd like (a starting 17 would be nice) but still, damage reducers THE ENTIRE DIAL, with only 1ko, he's lasting for a while.
Damage: 4 for one click, seven 3's and three 2's. Keep in mind, he has 3 clicks of flurry for 3 damage each. And his attack is 11,10,9 respectively on the flurry clicks. THAT is some power potential.
I would have liked to see some CCE somewhere on the dial, but as it stands, this is one sweet dial. The Avengers TA is nice, allowing T-bolting to whatever. He's a flyer too, which is nice.
