Bizarro is a tough call. When compared to his other, Unique version. he looks pretty good. As a stand alone heroclix, that's a problem.
OK, Good first. 17 IMP, 5 damage, 10 attack super strength, charge ... all good. TA is pricey and probably robbed him of some late dial Running Shot or something :( Defense bumps up to 17 in the middle so that's cool. and the mid dial charge with quake is cool.
BAD. Cost. 222 is a little much for a 10 attack and lower. not to mention only 4 clix of imp or invulnerable.
Last Word: IF you can pull off the TA, he'll probably be worth the points.
Overcosted. Only two 10 AVs for 222 points...
IMP is nice, but last only two clicks and DVs drop after it, only to come up again when he's no longer really efficient.
Bizarro am weakest of sauce in game. But am too fun to resist. Bizarro not par with Superman, but noone par with Superman.
Sorry about that, it's just so much fun and still (as in the write-up for the original Unique)...the whole point of playing Bizarro. Using the stupid voice as long as possible for only 222 points!
His sculpt is actually very good...the S's have great detail, the pose is accurate and the colours chosen (never red, always a darker purple) are spot on too! The Purple Base is also just sorta cool to have for such a Purple Guy.
The dial may not hold up against others in his point range...or even at HALF his point range...but when you use him just take out the smallest stuff you can. I'll admit that he is pretty horrid against alot of teams but when you see 7 click 90 point pieces and you're taking out 1 per hit...he's not too shabby. Plus when you actually use that TA you really feel good, it's like a little just incase or icing on the cake when you use him...it's either getting rid of a damage reducer or Shape Change or whatever...or stopping some RCE or Psy-Blast busting through your Imperv.
If you're a true fan of Bizarro....you'll have one and you'll use him with pride. He's a big lug who can't do much but when he just sorta busts up what he can before dying he's a fun investment...after all that's what the game's about.
(if you want to use him and actually win, cover him in Support...good luck to you!)

All Bizarro's except the latest suffer from the same problem (low numbers), but it's worth pointing out that if you aren't using their TA you aren't really putting the piece's best foot forward. Despite his low attack values (considering the cost), it remains satisfying to deal 7 damage in an opening assault. The fact that he can choose to keep some distance and deal 5 at range is a great option if you're worried about committing to the fight. I sometimes put the Monster Society of Evil ATA Feat on this guy and use him against a horde of guys without damage reduction, dropping him in the middle. Fighting off even "quasi"-Poison that can't be Outwitted on a figure with 10 clicks of major damage reducers is a pain for some armies.

this guy should be able to tangle with superman not get slapped around like a bad dog. Dial is golden age style with low defense but no higher attack rate.
I pulled this figure many years ago, and promptly relegated him to my shoebox of unloved Heroclix. But I still remember his lousy dial! His attack values are very low for the points, he doesn't get much Imperv and Invuln, and his Charge is a poor substitute for RS or HSS. How does he come to within 30 points of the Icons Superman Vet, when he isn't even half as good? Normally I try to find at least one positive aspect of a figure, but considering he's 222 points, Bizarro is disappointing in pretty much every respect.
It should not be understated that Bizarro does present a huge threat. 5 damage, Super Strength, and Charge can easily one-shot a figure, and then he can push to do it again.
The problem is that he's such a huge chunk of a force, and both his attack and defense values are on the low end of average -distinctly below average considering his cost. Because of that, he will often be fighting an uphill battle, and can easily find himself the target of 2-3 attacks before he can properly enter the fight. Bottom line, the potential is there and in a high-point game he could be a terrible weapon for your team, but with unreliable defense values, an uninspiring back dial (anything past click 4) and a buddy-system TA, he simply needs too much support to cost 222 points.
