This is a bad combination of powers. And with the pre-2006 power drop down the dial? I give E Beast three thumbs down.

gives defenders much needed perplex. Pretty decent up close too.

Gotta agree with Bill : a bad dial overall. Not the best version of Hank around, not a very good sculpt either. Too bad, as it's the only Defenders Beast ! :(
Howard is a better perplexer for the team, now...

I wish he had more clix of perplex. He's quite dated and outmoded on a current Defenders team. I used him tonight for shiggles, but he didn't perform well, and got nailed with a pulsewave fairly early on that negated his upfront usefulness.

WIN/LOSS: 2-2 Fun fact: This is still the only Beast with the Defenders Team Ability. Beast was a cool idea that has lots of competing powers. Defenders TA requires adjacency and charge breaks that adjacency. 1 click of Perplex makes his top dial very valuable and he only gets worse with a single click of damage (no pushing for you). Back dial, he provides nothing. The big plus, though, is the sculpt is awesome.
