giant adjacent question

If a giant is two squares away from a normal character does the normal character have to roll break away to base the giant or run away?

Yes. The giant's two square adjacency comes into play for movement and the Giant's close combat. A character attempting to move (either toward or away from the Giant) must roll breakaway.

Read the rules. They do a body good!
