Planetary was perfect. Nextwave made me laugh out loud, and the gag on the last page was brilliant. The current Daredevil story will probably read better in one sitting. Deathblow was a (surprisingly) quick read and all set-up. Wetworks has potential. X-Men was solid. While improving over last issue, The Boys continues to suffer from one of the cardinal sins of writing: it's too obvious. I once remarked that Garth Ennis is a one-trick pony, but it's a good trick. Since Preacher, he settled into a familiar pattern, and outrageousness isn't as effective when you're outrageous all the time.

Already read everything. Planetary wasn't quite the level of ending I was expecting, but it was still good. The overall quality of the series pretty much dictating that the ending was never going to reach expectations but I was happy with it nonetheless. That book is now definitely going on my overall Top 10 reads now.
