So I've been busy reading The Sandman by Neil Gaiman (I'm on Vol.2) and recently re-read my favorite Spider-Man story Fearful Symmetry (aka Kraven's Last Hunt). This has prompted me to start looking at other things that I may want to read. So I was wondering if anyone else had anything that they've heard is good, is a little dated, and would like to read?
For me:
Watchmen
V for Vendetta
Infinity Gauntlet
Batman: Year One ( I read this when it first came out, but would like to read it again, as its been years).
Avengers: Under Seige
Ok, what about you?
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
I wouldn't mind reading Avengers: the Korvac Saga or the Kree-Skrull War, especially in the light of the new figures in SN.
"I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing around, I mean to deprive you of your life. But I wanted you to know who it was who had beaten you."
KHAN NOONIAN SINGH
In memory of Ricardo Gonzalo Pedro Montalbán Merino
Squadron Supreme
Sandman (sitting on my freaking table for two months!)
Kree/Skrull War
V For Vendetta
I know there are more, but I can't think of single stories from specific runs I'd like to read. I might add one more in the future if I can think of a fifth.
Marvels for me, it is sitting at home in my second read pile, I have never opened it. One of these days, one of these days. Its been unopened for about a year now, anyone want to convince me to open it?
As well Plastic Man Archives vols 7 and 8 (I think, the last two published anyway). Justice Society of America TP.
At the moment I am reading Path of the Assassin vol 3 (Historical Samurai manga)
Cerebus ah Cerebus, I have to dig the first 3 phonebooks out for a re-read. (After around nr 5 Dave Sim went a little off the rails).
"When they come to take control every Ogre must play his role"
-V for Vendetta
-The last 8th or so of infinite crisis (omg! we are about to fight doomsday! is a horrible horrible cliff hanger for me. Damn you, hastings for not having anything after that!)
-Sandman (yeah, theres alot of that)
-Batman: Year one (loved Long Halloween, which is year 2 if I am correct)
-the last third of AoA

It's my humble and honest opinion that anyone who has never read The Sandman should not be allowed to buy, touch, or even gaze upon another comic book until they have rectified that little oversight. And after that, you may never want to read another one again. It's like glimpsing heaven and then being told you've gotta go back and spend the rest of eternity in bum%$#& Iowa or whatever.
Just my two cents though

Well that just about seals my decision to purchase the books.
Muchos gracias, senor.
