Pulse Wave Question . . . .

Scenario

It's the 6th round of the tournament ; my opponent has just used Thor -(V) to hit my Blackbolt figure for 5 - clicks of damage .

Blackbolt took some damage earlier and he's currently on his final click of life .

Only he and Thor are in the immediate area ; now if I use the Pulse-wave attack with just one figure in the blast area , does his Thor figure take the full 5 damage ?

SPECIAL-NOTE :

The card " SUPER-NOVA" was-not used in this scenario .
