Doom and Magneto are probably the two most understandable/likable villains ever. Each has honor, class, massive intelligence and the ability to inspire others. I've always enjoyed reading stories about both of them.

I'm very much looking forward to Stan Lee Meets the Silver Surfer this week. The Doom one is still the best, because Doom is, of course, the man.

Where are these Stan Lee Meets... available?

Mags is nothing compared to Doom. Especially the last decade or so, Mags has turned into such a whiny beeotch.
Doom... has not.
The only other villian with that kinda attitude would be the Red Skull and he just comes off as a moron, cause, even with the power of the Cosmic Cube... he loses. Every time.

Yeah he losses. (because we want the good guy to win) but what makes doom great that it isnt a lost to doom it is a minor setback.

Yeah, it's like he relized he can't win, so the heck with it. Doom says he just wasn't ready this time. I'm more of a Magneto man, but lately he has whussed. Must be old age.

Doesn't Doom lose pretty much every time as well?

Let's put it this way.

If you go up to Mags, get in his face and say "you're a loser" He'll get huffy, and run off vowing to do something.

If you go up to Doom and say "you're a loser", he'll first tell you it was a minor setback, and then dispose of you.

The fact of the matter is they both whine nonstop. Doctor Doom won't shut up about how Richards made him ugly, even though it's just an allaby. The truth is, his momma made him that way!

And don't get us started on Kang, who's travelled all over time and in various incarnations, and *still* can't get the job done.

it's all about one-upmanship. Curse you, St Dumas and your love of Reed Richards.
