I have a 1200 point game coming up and I'm thinking of doing a Pro-Registration team/Super-Human Task Force, but I need your help. This is what I have so far:
- LE Iron Man (NGN) = 160
- LE Dr. Donald Blake = 202
- E Black Widow (Ult) = 43
- V Doc Samson = 102
- V Mr. Fantastic (FF) = 78
- E She-Hulk (SN) = 125
- V Tigra = 54
- U Wasp = 44
- R Yellowjacket - 107

This is obviously without feats, so that will bump up the points. I wanted to try and stay with the Super-Human Task Force, but I might not make the points.
I thought about adding other Registered heroes like Deadpool, Ms. Marvel, Wonder-Man, Hellcat or Nighthawk. I could even add S.H.I.E.L.D. generics. I wanted to stay away from using any of the Thunderbolts though, as they are their own team.
So any fig suggestions would be appreciated. I'll probably be able to borrow figs if I don't already have them.
By the way: my other thought was to do 1200 points of HYDRA generics, just to see it on the map.
1200 point Hydra Team:
U Baron Strucker (74)
-Inspiring Command (15)
-Tactics (20)
-Darkness Within (15)
LE Madame Hydra (39)
-Trick Shot (20)
-Darkness Within (15)
U M.O.D.O.K. (144)
-Darkness Within (15)
-Fortitude (25)
LE Jessica Drew (65)
-Fortitude (25)
V Sinister Hydra Officer (24)
-Inspiring Command (15), Armor Piercing (10), Tactics (20)
--x4 = 276
This team leaves 452 points leftover for generics! You can also throw some more Fortitude around. That's enough for >20 of any given Hydra generic (and would give you 25 characters if you used 20!). I advise filling out with the old Ninja generics and some Hydra Technicians (with Construct for added nasty!). Darkness Within uses spare Hydra lifespan to power super strikes, and can help prime your Techs to their Barrier and Support. HAIL HYDRA!
Arguendo of the Beige Lanterns (Pedantry Corps)
Feb 2015: JL Trinity War has have given us the CSA, playable and together. Twice. ROCK ON!
REClixed: Justice for Dmitri Pushkin (your sacrifice will not be forgotten)! New generic Rocket Red @50-75 points while we're at it? Still no 19DV Defender? (WoS Groot doesn't count)
Power Girl AND Bust.

All I have to say is "Wow".
If I come up with a HYDRA team I'll post it here or in it's own thread.

Did I mention the ridiculous action potential?
On the subject of SHIELD, however, I have found that the Sinister generics work exceptionally well as 51 point bundles: one Agent (jetpack) and one Sniper. While filling the board with them is somewhat impractical, adding a few pairs can increase the mobility and bite of your team nicely, forcing your opponent to deal with them. Something to think on would be what your team already has/does well. You have a giant and two bricks, some rounded support, and Iron Man and Blake as your larger cannons. When you throw on some of the obvious feat choices and other support feats, you can likely round to nearly 1,050 or 1,100 with SHIELD generics filling the gap. Since you have the Task Force in force, you might want to add Government Enforcers instead of "normal" registered heroes. E and V War Machine can represent himself and/or other members of Sentinel Squad O*N*E (not to mention being good pieces). Bishop and Black Cat make reasonable additions as enforcers as well. More for fun, Coleen Wing and Misty Knight can be added too. Madrox figures would actually count as well (Agent Jamie Madrox), as an interesting alternate to SHIELD generics for filler. If you're feeling old-school, the SWAT Heavy Weapons and similar generics can represent the Superhuman Restraint Unit (Cape Killers).

THAT is a HYDRA swarm. Twelve actions (no action cap), plus 7 characters with Leadership, plus Tactics equals 14 actions with good rolls. W-O-W.
I'm not sure about my BFCs though. Maybe Assembled. I could pack Ordinary Days to neutralize any Disbandeds I may come across. A personal favorite is Internal Interference Field, mostly to put a damper on any HSS abusers/Supermen I fight.
Not bad at all. The two sentiments I see looking at it:
-None of the leaders have Fortitude. If they're only going to be behind the swarm anyway, that's fine, but if they're helping "lead the charge", they'll fall far too quickly without it.
-Inspiring Command on the new Hydra Officer is an often overlooked but great way to extend your Willpower. Each one can act as an extension of your leadership and keep an offensive group of Hydra generics constantly attacking. I call them my "mobile tactical command squads."
BFCs would depend on how many rounds you play, but OD (against Disbanded or EQ!), IIF, and Assembled all add to the team. Rally could prove...interesting. You probably don't NEED Bright Lights (just swarm them!), but it can't HURT, and Darkness or Deeper Darkness could actually help you advance against long range teams with EE (it'll hurt the water cooler of Doom, mostly, but the will REALLY annoy your opponent). Armor Wars may or may not be necessary, but can turn your swarm to be LETHAL against those high-reducer teams. Power Dampenening Field is another way to really annoy opponents, and while it hurts M.O.D.O.K. and Madame, means that none of your generics will go down in one hit (without a heavy or soda machine).

How about adding some of spidey's enemies to your pro-register list. FF LE Hobgoblin or even bullseye, Lady Deathstike, Jack-o-Lantern, etc would make great additions to your team!! They are all controlled by the Ironman Nannites!

I thought about that, but I wanted to stick to more of the heroes side of the team. I also thought about making an all-villians team for one side, but it didnt make the points.
OK folks. I think I may have finally figured out my Pro-Reg team.
Hooray for me.
Here it is:
- LE Donald Blake + Fortitude + Repulsor Shield + Haymaker = 262
- LE Iron Man (NGN) + Fortitude + Repulsor Shield + Extended Range = 220
- V Deadpool + Auto Regen + Swingline = 107
- V Yellowjacket + Shake Off = 154
- V Mr. Fantastic (FF) + Entangle = 86
- E She-Hulk (SN) = 127
- V Tigra = 54
- V Doc Samson = 102
- U Wasp = 44
- E Black Widow = 43
- Alpha Flight ATA = 0

Obviously Thor and Iron Man are the big guns, with Deadpool and Reed as secondary offensive support. Everyone else just kind of does their thing. I thought about finding a way to put Pounce on Mr. F, but didn't think it was worth it. Can anyone vouch for it? (I'm hoping to get to use Haymaker in conjunction with Alpha Flight to take out lots of people.)
Sooooooooooooo? What do we think?
EDIT: Found out I can borrow V Yellowjacket, and that BT is useless on Mr. Fantastic, so I re-worked it. (Weird, it's the exact same total)

I think you should do it cause
1. I got a Yellowjacket.
2. Superbleeder's Anti-Reg team
3. It looks fine to me
4. HYDRA's cool and all, but we've seen it all before

Hey works for me.
Besides, I'll probably bring HYDRA anyway and have a swarm game against Bamf!'s alien generics swarm.
