I must say I'm not a DD fan, never really did anything for me - except for bullseye. Anyway I just picked up the Trade for Brubaker's run - the Devil inside and out....
That was some damn good reading, I'm totally giving it up for the man without fear, I'm hooked now. What a great story, I felt I didn't need to really be up to date on what's been going on and the cameos were cool too, especially for ***SPOILER*****
Iron Fist!!!!!! If your not reading it I would definitely check it out, and if it's already been discussed - my bad.
I always thought Daredevil was pretty bad. I just thought the whole premise of the character was boring and uninteresting. But, he has slowly creapt into my reading books each month and he has gotten considerably better. The only problem is that whenever I read it, I get that stupid Evanescence song from the movie running through my head and I have to put the book down. I then take a drill and go in head first to get it out.
Wake me up
Wake me up inside I can’t wake up
Wake me up inside Save me
Call my name and save me from the dark Wake me up
Bid my blood to run I can’t wake up
Before I come undone Save me
Save me from the nothing I’ve become...
Sorry, had to do it.
Gulyadkin Victims List: Spider-Man (ASM 001b), Green Goblin (M10A 004).
Black Panther R (IC) Mjolnir Attempts: 2 for 2! HE IS WORTHY!
Daredevil's never really been bad. These days it's exceptional. Before it was... consistent.
Now I'm still praying to one day see Cloak and Dagger return with a good writer!
Daredevil is the man. That TPB was very good, I've got Volumes 2-5, haven't picked up 6 yet...also have the Frank Miller Volume 1 and 2. The differences between Bendis and Miller's concept of Daredevil's powers are interesting and both writing techniques use it effectively.
Daredevil: Means and Ends with the Punisher is a nice read as well.
If you like brubaker stuff you should check out his captain america. It is some of the best cap stories I have ever read. I like his run on daredevil too but his story of the winter soldier rocks.
Let the good times roll up in the air . Me hulk me smash!!! Looking forward to another hulk that will be iin the front of my team as the crusher!!!
I have my gripes, but really the book has been in good hands for years and years now.
Yes. Starting with Miller then pausing for a good while, picking back up with Bendis, and now Brubaker. The Alex Maleev art on the Bendis stories was exceptional and really made that run one of the best ever.

Again, yes. But I liked the 21st Century Blitz(directly after the Winter Soldier Arc) just as well. These two books are much better than his work on X-Men so far (IMO). And Union Jack doesn't suck either.
Daredevil has actually been pretty good for about seven years now. It's probably the best Marvel title I buy, and somewhere at the bottom of my top ten currently published books.

I've been wanting to pick up those trades but they were out. I've been hearing good things, thanks for another heads up.
