I'm about a quarter of the way through and already I like it way better than the movie (and I do really really like the movie), particularly the character of Evey.
I also got "Does This Cape Make Me Look Fat?" which is a pretty damn funny look at the social aspects of being a superhero. Good stuff

300
$50.00 which I just used to order From Hell. Not sure what the other $15.00 will go to. Maybe towards starting Sin City, or getting either Superman: Chronicles or Batman the Long Halloween.
But this weekend, I finished
Watchmen & Superman for all Seasons
Currently reading Origin, then moving on to V.
As much as I wanted to read V soon after Watchmen, getting into (what I would imagine is) another cerebral read, would've been a bit tiring. Even if I paced myself with Watchmen.
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
I did hand out four copies of Pride of Baghdad for X-Mas though. Figure that spread some good cheer or whatever...
Yeah, I gave this to a friend of mine for X-mas, as well. He's a casual comic reader. Reads Squadron Supreme, and I turned him on to the entire Infinite Crisis/Identity Crisis saga, and Ultimate FF.
He seemed to genuinley like it, but wasn't too happy with the ending. Of course, I don't think you're supposed to be.

Got and reading the Watchmen, where I am constantly amazed at the genius of Alan Moore. Loved V for Vendetta, though I consider the movie and the comic separate entities/stories. Loved the movie too, though I felt it was more of a political statement by the Matrix brothers than an adaptation of the comic.
I got several trades for Christmas. So far I've read:
Ult. Spidey vol 2. - Ultimate Spidey is awesome. It's just plain fun comics.
Winter Soldier 1 & 2 - great story, great art. Even if you already know the ending.
Now I'm reading Squadron Supreme, and that's really good.
Still need to read:
Invincible vol 1
Thunderbolts vol 3
and a couple of others. Can't remember them right now.
The only trade I got was the hardcover Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do. A pretty decent story, but one I'm glad I got in trade from what I hear about that delay in publishing.
However, along the lines of comics, I did get the JLU:Season One (season three of the series for the uninitiated). Man, what a great season.
