Not a bad dial, but for the points? I dunno, stats all around are too low. LE Doom gets 3 clicks of 13 attack and Thanos gets 4 clicks of 12, but Thor gets a wimpy 2 clicks of 12, and drops to 9 at the end? Lame.
I can't wait to bash Thanos with this bad mamajama, yeah I did just say that.
H/W Updated Weekly
"My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."
Way too overcosted for what this dial does. Any dial that costs 200+ should start with at least a 17 Impervious. Especially when dealing with a figure that quite literally is your team. After playing 20 odd games with him in 300 to 600 point games, I have to correct myself and say that "the hammer delivers". He is a true monster the more support he has the more he can do. I still don;t understand why he wasn't given some 17s and 18s.
They gave ares those numbers and he's not half the god that tthor is!!!!!

Reason: change of mind after thorough playtesting
This is the piece that brought me back to the game of clix!!
He is a beast.
In an experianced players hands he could well be one of the best clix in the game!!
No matter how big the game or how many opponents, this Thor will be in it until the end and STILL dishing out the punishment. With Shellhead, In Contact With Oracal, and Protected you can't lose...period.
In one on one brawls, he just wrecks things...especially opposing fliers. Gorgeous sculpt, except that from a fluff background it's the wrong sculpt for the powers they gave him, and vice versa. Regardless, he should also be a flier.
Sadly, I believe this is supposed to represent Rune Lord Thor, in which case he's actually UNDERPOWERED. BUT, enough of that. Review:
Speed: 10 Running shot to start is great. Gets 3 clix of charge next, 3 clix of flurry, and finishes with 4 clix of ..........forceblast?
Attack: Just Amazing. Insanely high numbers throughout. 11 Super Strength, 10 Quake, 11 EE, 9 quake......and those are his LOWEST NUMBERS!
Defense: Again, why the heck is his freakn' defense so low?! 16 IMP to start a 286 point figure?! Yeesh! At least he only has 1ko and he's got damage reducers his entire dial. Numbers aren't that bad, just starting click.
Damage: YOWSERS SCOOBY! IF you can maintain range with this Thor and "snipe" your opponents, DO IT! With RCE his first 4 clix could look like this: 6,6,6,5! THEN, he gets Flurry with 3 damage each. So, let's follow the pattern again. 6,6,6! Next two clix are RCE again, so: 5,5! And he finally fizzles out at the end of his dial with two lousy 4's! Talk about DAMAGE!
Couple of things. Get creative with this Thor. You don't have to snipe people to hurt them, he packs a punch no matter what he's doing. HOWEVER, he is NOT A FLIER! So, if he gets based by a pog, for instance he could find himself in trouble....for a second. Just keep that in mind.
Feats: Well, at 286 points you're kinda asking for it with a lot of feats. But, Shellhead would be great. Since this Thor has the Power Cosmic, he can push without damage. Then his hideous 16 defense would shoot to an 18, much better. Fortitude and Repulsor shield are expensive to put on this piece, but if he's you're playing him in a higher point game, you may wanna consider them. He's doable as a One Man Army, but it's gonna take a lot of thought. Where he really shines is higher point games. Either way, he's an absolute beast!
