is she grounded or a flyer?

grounded....she is a leaper/climber so grounded. only Rookie.

Yep, the rookie is a non-flier (note that "grounded" is an elevation, not a form of movement).

Nothing against that ...But that was a really stupid errata they did for that figure

Note however that the presence of Leap/Climb doesn't automatically mean you are a non-flyer. U Mimic and R Trickster are flyers with Leap/Climb, meaning they can do neat tricks like making close combat attacks against figures on ground level from soaring, or Pouncing from soaring, or Pounce and carry a figure with them...

I know this is an old thread, but apart from the two you mentioned, is
R Dove the only other flyer w/ leap/climb? I can't think of any others...

and about Colossal Boy not being able to use pounce, is it only becuase he's a giant, or is there another explanation ?

R Dove and R Man-Bat were both erratad to be grounded too. However, they are still listed as being fliers in the figure gallery... which gives them the bizarre distinction of playing differently in friendly games than in tourney games (if your opponent allows it.)

About Colossal Boy, I'm not sure. The card doesn't mention a damage symbol prerequisite, but the math on the top clearly indicates the starburst symbol. If Colossal Boy can use pounce, it would only be on his second click though.

Colossal Boy can indeed use Pounce as he meets the prerequisites on his second click. However, since he has the giant damage symbol rather than the starburst speed symbol, he will not get the damage bonus, just the +1 to AV.

Non-flier, not grounded. No fig has ever been errated to be "grounded".
