Just a couple of quick questions:

1) The Dark Phoenix rules say Dark Phoenix takes pushing damage, her Power Cosmic team ability says she does not? So does she, or doesn't she?

2) If we assume case two, short of playing other Power Cosmic characters, how does one beat her?

3) Again if we assume case two in number one above, how can anybody think that Fing Fang Foom even at 1200 can beat the 1000 point DP?

Dark Phoenix would take pushing damage, just like any other character. However, her Power Cosmic TA prevents her from taking push damage.

If Power Cosmic gets Disbanded, then she would take pushing damage.
Well, this is really a question for another forum. But 1000 points is a lot of points worth of figures with which to out-action and overwhelm Phoenix.Well, the 1000 point Phoenix has 22 clicks of life. The 1200 point Foom has 49... that's a big step in the right direction. But, as I said, that's a discussion for another forum.

I thought because of Power Cosmic, she fails to take pushing damage on your second turn...but if you use her again on the third round, then she DOES take the push.

I'm not sure why you would have that impression.

Thanks...I actually already found that. If you read the start of the thread, you'll see that's what caused this confusion in the first place.

Apparently, this is where you can find the O'Doyle Rules!!!

Actually, I did read the thread and since the OP was not you and your post mentioned nothing about the DP rules aside from the fact that your DP did come with any, I don't know why you'd think I'd know you had that link already.

Ow my head...the scary part is everything you said made sense.

I sounded off on DP because I agreed with the idea of the rules being confusing because they don't clarify. They say she pushes and she doesn't. Fortunately, that was clarified.

Otherwise, I've been around here long enough to know how to search for something as simple as her rules.
