Action #846 - Rated 9 - I like the enew criminal history. Turns out there is a lot of Kryptonians still around, in the Phantom Zone. And thier all bad. Zod frees them all and then they go assault Superman. Kal then gets sent to the Phantom Zone... uh oh. Also it seems Zod's son does not want to be apart of mom and dads plans. Good stuff.
Supergirl and the Legion #27 - Rated 6 - Kind of confused. I guess the aliens released an AI thats attacking the earth. The Legion is getting its butt kicked. Plus only like one panel of Sueprgirl = bleh. Oh well.
52 #43 - Rated 8 - Osiris wants to be rid of his powers so he seeks out the Marvel family but after a chat with BA and Isis he returns to them. But it was a ploy and he decides to turn off his powers and live as a cripple because he's very sure the plague is his fault. His new gater friend tells him its a good idea. Osiris turns normal and his gator friend eats him. Uh oh, thats what you get for being stupid. Hehe. Also ANimal Man gains powers from some space animals that have an inate homing beacon and off he goes to find home. Good stuff as always.
Justice #10 - Rated 8 - Art is great of course. The JLA attack the villians. BC and GA sneak int he back way to free and recruit Jon Stewart and Supergirl. Plus Joker starts causing problems. This will be a good TPB when it gets done.
The Flash #9 - Rated 8 - Bart kick some loser bad guy's butt for calling himself "Impulse" finds a Apokoliptic device, which Steppenwolf comes to collect. Realisticly, Bart can't handle the god and calls in Red Arrow, Green Lantern and Black Canary who capture Darkseid's uncle. Robin invites Bart back to the Titans, but he declines, saying that he will hold off "until I'm ready" while holding a picture of the JLA.
Supergirl and the Legion #27 - Rated 6 - Kind of confused. I guess the aliens released an AI thats attacking the earth. The Legion is getting its butt kicked. Plus only like one panel of Sueprgirl = bleh. Oh well.
I realize you started the title because of Supergirl and that's okay - everyone should have a favourite on the Legion - but may I make a suggestion? Don't just focus on the Supergirl parts - try being a bit more open to the rest of the team; learn about them, their personalities, why they've been fan-favourites for years, etc. I think you'll end up enjoying the series more that way than if you're just looking for the panels with Supergirl.
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

It's more the setting than anything. For some reason I just can't get into "Sci-fi outer space" comics. I mean I know its about superheros. its just eh... yea.

So ignore the "surroundings" and focus on the characters. Seriously, there's no one on the Legion that you'd be interested in learning a little more about or reading a solid tale featuring that character?

The problem I had was that they changed it from Legion of Super-Heroes to Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes, which sort of implies she was going to be a big part of the comic. I found she had been appearing and doing less and less, and I don't know, I just can't get into the rest of the Legion at all, not sure why.

Well then with all due respect, you guys are reading the book for the wrong reason; if you're reading it just to see Supergirl - and she's not going to be the focus of every story (the name change wasn't just to highlight that she was going to be part of the team but a nod to the past but that doesn't mean she was going to "overwhelm" the rest of team anymore than Superman overshadows the Justice League) - you're going to be disappointed and it's going to sour you. All that's going to end up happening is you're going to get a "distaste" because the book didn't feature enough of the character you wanted and, frankly, that's not a fun reading experience.
