I went into World War Hulk as more of a continuation of Civil War/The Initiative. Kind of interested in what happened but still not totally excited about it. But after seeing this?

Holy carp. Those 4 panels are seriously better than ALL of Civil War already. John Romita Jr's art has never looked so good.

I don't know how Hulk could ever beat Black Bolt in a fight but I'm still INCREDIBLY pumped to see how it all goes down. And that's just the first issue.

One copy of everything related to World War Hulk, please.

P.S. Hope our Marvel Heroclix: Avengers gives us a 616 Hulk like that. Because those last two lines are the best thing Hulk has EVER said since "Hulk SMASH!" and "Puny humans!".

Call me old school (ok middle school, seeing as he spoke complete sentences at the beginning), but I still have trouble dealing with hulk not sounding like Tanto...

I wasn't keen on the Planet Hulk stuff, but the Angry Hulk returning for some Payback, that's something I can sink my teeth into.

Planet Hulk has been outstanding and I'll definitely jump on top of World War Hulk, but holey moley do I hate JRJR.

Well, he's probably madder than ever before with his wife and child being murdered by the Illuminati. Sure, that's not exactly how it happened, but to the Hulk you know that's what he thinks. I just hope they don't cop out. I'm not all about bloodshed, but I see the Hulk establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the Marvel U. and I really could see some folks dying because of this.

Those pages were awesome. Black Bolt fighting the Hulk right off the bat is enough to make me want to but the issue twice. Of course that would be silly.

I hope in the last issue where he and Punisher have separatly killed all superheros/villians; Hulk fights Punisher in the Hulk-buster armor...then the world explodes
