Daredevil #95 - Rated 7 - Yea i knew that Gladiator was going nuts. And I hope who ever is following Mia doesnt plan to hurt her! Anyways DD is trying to clean up The Kitchen but the new Boss seems to have some really good loyal followers.. BTW why is it Stark gives Matt a pass on the SHRA? I never understood that. I mean I know he said Matts been through enough about his secret ID but come on... only Matt gets a pass?
Ult FF #40 - Rated 6 - The group goes to assault Diablo but the other good guys attack them thinking them on D's side. Thing makes his way inside but D turns him into glass and he shatters. Uh oh! I still find this book boring. I really miss the old stuff.
Ult X-Men #80 - Rated 8 - Storm, JEan, and Scott take over control of all of Charles stuff. Scott ends the X-Men but looks like Bishop might start his own. Wolvie leaves as well. Lilandra agrees to give them cash as long as she has one of her people there. This guys is working for the HF club. Also we see that Charles is not dead, just as I knew he wasn't.
Ult Spidy #107 - Rated 9 - Loved Spidys quips. And man things are icky with Kitty, who has a bad day at school. Also Spidy joins up with DD's crew who want to take down Kingpin. To bad Iron Fist is working for Fist and tells him thier plans! Good stuff as usual!
The great: Cosmic Marvel in a title! Gravity's body has been kidnapped. Michael Roth/Deathlok comes to ask T'Challa about finding the boy's body since he saved his arse in the Beyond mini that........dum dum dum.....McDuffie also wrote!
The not so great: Anyway, why is T'Challa and Storm even at the Baxter Building?? Why Reed and Sue (all made up in a nice tidy bow) are going to Titan for a "honeymoon". And Reed is really, really sorry about that whole Civil War screwup. How could he have forseen the whole Klor debacle?!?!?!?!?!? His bad. But all is forgiven.
The story: The new Fant Four go to find Uatu, do, and T'Challa threatens the Watcher with the ULTIMATE NULLIFIER!!!!!! OOOOOH. Uatu says he showed up at their wedding because of the children they'll have. Then Benji finds out who took the body: Epoch, the time entity and former aide to Quasar. They find Epoch who says she can't be bothered with them. She's in the middle of something dire, you see, with Gravity's body. But of course, as human nature takes course, the new FF just don't give a #*$& what she has to say. But in her evading them, she leaves an energy trail that the entity hunting her will pick up on.
And uh oh.....the entity hunting Epoch for some fearful reason....the SILVER SURFER!!!!!!!!!
Y'know, it was fun...but forcing the whole Reed is forgiven thing after the carppy Civil War characterization. It's not McDuffie's fault, it's what he had to deal with and I think he did as good a tale as he could spin.
My one personal gripe: Epoch was under Quasar/Wendell's care. He's dead. And now they're forcing a new PotU at us. And it's Gravity (or will be). A guy who's dead. It just ticks me off to see one of my favorite characters shoehorned out for something else.

Yeah, It's been downhill since Land left in my opinion. I finally dropped it after Diablo Part 1. It's reassuring to not hear praises right after I leave.

Edit: Carp. Can a mod change the title to Marvel please?
Thanks for the reviews. I didn't pick up any of those this week.
They're going to have kids. But, it's going to be later revealed that Black Panther is, really, a robot and Storm is just imagining the kids into reality.
Then, in a bout of depression slowly while losing control of her new-found powers, she'll destroy the Avengers and / or new Fantastic Four, create her own universe, become disgusted with the way things turn out in her own universe, and hit the 'reset' button that actually causes her imagined children to become 'real'.

Will this be followed by Steve Rogers and Bucky breaking down "the wall" and re-adjusting reality?

Unfortunately, no.
It'll be pre-HoM Sentry punching the walls of reality and being convinced by ... well, someone, that the universe should be entirely re-made in the image of the universe he knew before he wiped the minds of everyone and made them forget he existed and then came back as a drooling, shizophrenic, rookie version of his former self.
We will, however, come to find out that his punching the walls of reality is what caused Bucky to come back and become the Winter Soldier, though.

You know, I recall all the big hoo-haa about Infinite Crisis and how all the fans were like "This is teh awesome!!!11!!". A friend got the trade for Christmas and l borrowed it.
Having now read it, I can honestly say "What the frell?"... there were some good bits but mostly, it was a load of people being killed for some dumb-### plan and ...Superboy Prime.
It was ok. It wasn't great.
The build up minis were FAR superior to the actual event!
I haven't read Civil War yet but intend to get the trade when its out. I understand I'll be similarly underwhelmed

No, you'll be far more underwhelmed with Civil War.

Note that the Black Panther/Storm "Children of the House of M Clone Saga" storyline is a summer special event in 5 parts...it will begin shipping in June 2008 and complete in January of 2010.

Wolverine #52 has Creed and Logan showing up in Wakanda where they meet Black Panther (damn it!) and Storm. Sabretooth is shackled and manages to break free and Black Panther decides to take him down on his own. Since this isn't the Black Panther comic Sabretooth actually roughs up T'Challa a little bit and looks like he's going to finish him until Wolverine shows up. Those two get ready for the next round when they realize they're in a giant burial pit containing the bones of their ancestors or something. I'm getting less enthused with all this unnecessary plot, I just want to see those two go at it a little more. Maybe I'd enjoy it more if the plot were a little more interesting.
Silent War #3 featured some more guest stars as the Inhumans tangled with Quicksilver. Not so much a fight as Black Bolt just slapping him around. Layla and Jamie from X-Factor show up and show off how they've been pulling Quicksilver's strings to make him even more pathetic. Layla just doesn't like Pietro, sorta like everyone else in the comic and probably everyone reading it. Quicksilver does reveal that a trip to the future showed him that a massive explosion will appear on the blue area of the moon. My personal guess is it'll probably be Black Bolt speaking/screaming or the Americans nuke Attilan. Anyway, the comic ends with Luna saying she sees something bad in Black Bolt and Medusa goes to Maximus for help. A good continuation to a good series.
You forgot to mention that Black Panther used to be allied with Black Bolt and may be making a new "Frightful Four" alliance with BB, Namor and Doom (y'know, just to keep the trend going here ).
