I was just wondering if anyone knew if an entire messageboard that was devoted to Marvel Comics, with a really wide range of topics, instead of it just being one little section of a forum on a different subject. Anyone know of a good one? I've been reading the classic Stan Lee comics lately, and I think it would be fun to discuss those, but I figure the bigger the forum, the more people there will be who want to discuss such germane issues.
Thanks for the link but here's the challenge from the board rules
5) Bashing:
Do not bash people, companies, or characters. Bashing is somewhat subjective, but, essentially it means being excessively negative about a subject without giving reasons why. This does not mean that you aren’t allowed to have your own opinions, only that you must be cognizant about how you phrase them. If you dislike something, you absolutely can say so, but say it in a way that doesn’t mindlessly lash out at the subject of your ire. Basically: “Spider-Man sucks and everyone who likes him sucks,” is bashing, while “I haven’t enjoyed Spider-Man since he got married because the marriage makes me less interested in the character,” is not bashing.
See I had posted "Joe Quesada sucks and everyone who likes him sucks." Apparently that's bashing. I should have said "Joe Quesada has ruined Marvel Comics through ill-concieved retcons, pointless crossovers and sycophantic pursuit of 'talent' that tells their own story but ignores or confuses all that came before."
Well, like I said above, I've been reading classic Marvel. From what I've seen, I'm not too crazy about the new stuff either, but I haven't read it, so I can't really say authoritatively.
