Squirrel-Power. Duh!

Basically, she's a joke character, thrown against major villains and wins not because she's incredibly powerful, only because the writers thought it would be funny. I always see these sorts of things as fine, as long as it never comes up outside of that particular series/comic. Until I hear Doom in a Fantastic Four comic, complaining to Richards about losing to Squirrel Girl, I assume it never actually happened.

And I think her defeat of Dr. Doom is in continuity. Where as she basicly rushed him a forests worth of squirrels to save the captured Iron Man.

I like having stories like hers in continuity, it makes the story even funnier and it shows that sometimes these super villains get so wrapped up in how powerful they are that they ignore the least likely of threats. I would understand the GLX Christmas Special as not being in continuity but the old Squirrel Girl/Iron Man team-up was classic.

With the exception of Deadpool, I think she's beat everyone with squirrels.

Deadpool only got beat 'cause he'd just had his midsection a'sploded, but she beat him down and out.

Most of her recent wins haven't been shown. The other heroes will show up to find her standing over a defeated villain. As for Thanos, even Uatu was actually there so he could make a comment like "Yep, and it's not a clone or an android, it's the real Thanos." Just to drive it in deeper.

The "victory" over Doom was in an old Iron Man book (her first appearance I believe). Her army of squirrels invaded his ship and started chewing on all the electical equipment and attacking Doom.
