Young Superman is one of my favorite pieces from this boxed set.

Solid attack stats, very impressive defense numbers, and a consistent damage output all rolled up in a neat 100 point package. Being a wildcard is just icing.

However, I really would have ranked him even higher if he was given some sort of special ability.

Dial a bit short, but with good powers. At 100 points, I think this is a deal! I would have liked a bit of HSS though. Come on! It's Supes!!!

As for the sculpt: AH-HA-HA-HA, Staying Alive, Staying alive!!!

Now this is a Rookie Superman!

A special power would be appropriate for Superman. Something where he has HSS but can only make CC attacks with it.
I love the opening 12 movement.

This is one cost-effective Superman. He is top-loaded, for sure - but on the right team he can be an important lynch-pin due to that fantastic wildcard TA. The Superman of choice for many although his dial is quite short. Be wary about having him go after close-combat beasts as he doesn't last long.

Not bad for 100 points... charge, range, SS, High defense... I will take him

A solid figure all the way down, this version of Superman is not a monster like those twice his cost, but an incredibly playable piece that fits on many more teams (although distinctly different keyword theme teams).

Played against him, pain in the arse.

What a wonderfully balanced piece. Good movement & range of powers/strength.

The sculpt is ok except for the damn Frankenstein head. WTF is up with that? It's ulgy as can be.

Great version of a Rookie Supes.

Good and steady stats + simple, yet effective, use of powers makes for a magnificent piece.

4 damage+SS on first 2 clicks with a 6 and 5 range flying charge makes him extremely dangerous for 100 points.

100 points for 4 damage, long-range charge and SS, pretty good attack, and good defenses.
