I am going to experiment with a GL figure this weekend. I would like to carry my troops into range, put them down and then rain fire on the enemies. Once Arisia carries the others into range, can I fire with my ranged characters? Flashbang with Dr/ Mid-Nite fig or lay down a barrier with Talisman? I like the idea of moving blasting and then hiding behind some cover, but not if it takes two turns.
If your question is what can you do after you carry a fig?
A fig that is carried may NOT take an ACTION other then a FREE ACTION.
Only a FREE ACTION would be allowed and most of what you said was not a FREE ACTION (check the PAC)
Also many figs can not be Carried. The following figs can NOT be carried:
- Giants
- Collosals
- Double-Based figs
- Other Flyers
- and Transporters (thats right you can NOT carry transporter Spider-man)
"A Jester unemployed is nobody's fool." - The Court Jester "And so he says, I don't like the cut of your jib, and I go, I says it's the only jib I got, baby!

You could do any of these before flying them in
Example
Let's say the enemy is in a narrow corridor (Prison map) but out of range
You could have Talisman barrier at his max range then have your GL of choice fly them all up to the barrier, ready to fire on your next turn
Otherwise no tokenable actions allowed after being carried means no tokenable actions allowed after being carried, whether it be by single flyer, transporter or GL group hug
Another option that works well in select areas is to have a Barrier fig with good range TKd up the field, they toss up a barrier, then a GL carries the rest of the team up to right behind the barrier. It works in most areas with some blocking terrain (although is MUCH easier in the prison, as BigSoph mentioned), and your best bet is to use this tactic against teams with low mobility if it's in an open area.... the prison or office building are the easiest to do this in safely, but any indoor map can be used with success.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
