Called up my local store tonight(thursday) and he hadn't recieved avengers yet. Or LOSH for that matter. Did anyone else get it and we're a bit behind or is everyone in the same boat. (Don't be silly Daniel! Fancy Croftminster releasing things on time. You know the venue owner laughs now whenever you ask if prize support has come in.)
I just don't see the point with playing a game with such a diverse background and flavour as Heroclix and such a massive pool of pieces to choose from to limit yourself to playing dupes or the same character over and over.
Kings Comics in the city had some Avengers - they usually get things a bit earlier than the game stores. A bunch of us grabbed boosters last night; I bought eight (seven for me and one for the judge) and when other people at our venue discovered that Kings was still charging the old retail price for them they left the tournament for a few minutes to pick up the rest of their stock.
I don't think that Kings had Legion.
Tin Soldier and Games Paradise don't have Avengers yet; they're waiting on CM.
I thought kings might have some, after they got origin early too. I'm planning on purchasing a few bricks, so a few boosters wouldn't have really helped me much. I really gotta get into kings rather than rely on a mail order account by the sounds of it though. The fact that can charge the old price for them too is really good news.

Unlimited Hobbies has avengers now too but no LOSH either. Bought 2 cases, 240 bucks each. Got everyone but Hulk, so I was really lucky.

lucky you, Only 2 SR's I'm after, Hulk and Ares, did not hit either (will be putting up my new trade list shortly). Dragonman is so damn impressive.
The distribution on bricks is damn better than before, I did hit 10 dupes (including 3 statures), But got a damn good range of figs. If you have never bought by a brick, now is the time to try.
Howard the Duck - , Agents of Atlas - , Squirrel girl - (suck it DOOMSTRIKER)
I finally heard from my shop, Avengers are on the truck and should be in my local store Tuesday/Wednesday. Look for an updated trade thread on Sunday .
"When they come to take control every Ogre must play his role"
People were talking about Hulk at our venue tonight... hardly anybody has pulled one. None of the guys who bought a case have Hulk, we haven't seen him in any sealed games, and only one person I know has him (Mr_Nobody, who got him in the first booster he bought).
My luck at pulling SRs is a bit over 50%, but I don't have a Hulk either. Fortunately I only have one duplicate SR, Quicksilver - who isn't even a unique, so there's always the possibility that I could field two on the same team.
For some reason I have seen hardly any Darkhawks! I'm sure that now I've said it everybody will tell me about the half-dozen Darkhawks they pulled in their cases, but I've only noticed one in the boosters opened at our venue. Whereas other Us like Vision, Iron Widow, Dragon Man... seen a lot of those.
Nobody I know has pulled a hulk either. 5 cases opened at my venue. About 5 citizen v's, 3 ares, 4 hawkeyes, at least a couple of everyone else except spidey who there's only been one of.
