From the LoSH rules (p.40): "DUO ATTACK (optional):
Give the character a power action to make a duo attack. It makes two separate attacks against opposing characters as free actions (making two separate attack rolls). These attacks may be close combat attacks, or ranged combat attacks with a single target. Resolve the first attack before making the second; the character’s damage value is modified by –1 for the second attack, to a minimum damage value of 1. If the character is kOd as a result of the first attack in a duo attack, the second attack is not made."
No, the comment about KO'ing states that if you, yourself get KO'ed, you can't make a second attack. If you KO another character, you should still be able to use the second attack on another target based on my reading of the definition.

Well if you roll a crit miss you still shouldn't be able to roll that second attack if you died.
Also, can you make a close combat attack, and if you roll doubles and they got knocked away, and you have range, can you shoot them again for the second attack? I would say yes since nothing goes against it...
The rest of the language in the description uses "the character". It's talking about the duo character. If you crit miss and die, or die from Mystics, then there's no 2nd attack.
I've been back into D&D lately, check out my website:
It is both. If you are KOed by the first attack, EX-Critical Miss/Mystics, then you can obviously not make a second attack. But if you KO, the character that you attacked with your first attack, then you cannot make a second attack.
The Mystics TA says when this charatcer takes damage from an attack to deal the unavoidable damage. So the mystics feedback would be applied as soon as the mystic's dial is turned, before the second attack.

Cool Cool but I was just refering to any Normal Character Besides a Duo Attack One
so Any Character will take his damage...as soon as he hits a mystic, correct

In each case, it is refering to the character with the ability, not the target of the attacks. And nowhere does it use the phrase "this character".
Just one last question, please:
The text says, "Give the character a power action to make a duo attack. It makes two separate attacks against opposing characters as free actions (making two separate attack rolls)."
This would allow the controlling character to make the two attacks against two DIFFERENT figures, correct (as the text says "against opposing characters" plural, right)?
And the when the very next line says, "These attacks may be close combat attacks, or ranged combat attacks with a single target." that is just in case the duo character has more than one lightning bolt / target, right?
So my question, I guess, is "Is that interpretation correct, or can they each only attack the SAME target with the duo attack?"
