Anything that is adacent is poisin. Or does an elevation mess w/ the power?
Radioacitve MAN is on elevated terrain, and Wolverine is on the ground.
Wha'a up?
In other words, they are in adjacent squares but not adjacent to each other. If Chemo (giant figure with Poison) were grounded standing directly adjacent (not two squares out, barring Toxic Burst) to an opposing elevated figure, he COULD deal the Poison click. This is the only exception to the rule that I am aware of.

Even if it's a flying character against the fig w/ poisin(who is on elevated)?
Correct. Flying grounded characters are still grounded characters and are not adjacent to elevated characters even if the elevated character is in an adjacent square.

Soaring will still have no effect since soaring is considered to be above all terrain, including elevated.

Yes. My point was that Flying (hovering)has no effect on adjacency in any situation. Soaring however does. Two figs that would be considered adjacent are not adjacent if one is soaring.

Ah, must've misread your post. I've spent a little too much time in the rules forum tonight, my head hurts!
