Is it correct that theme teams ignore an opponents battlefield condition every game? Not just once a tournament? So, essentially no opponent can ever play a BFC against you if you field a theme team?
This is incorrect. Theme Team Ordinary Day works only once each tournament.
That actually is incorrect on two accounts.
You don't get an Ordinary Day. That completely cancels the BFC. What you get to do is ignore it. This means that it doesn't affect your team, but it affects your opponent. The new FAQ breaks down how his works with each BFC. (It may be just the non-retired ones. I'm not sure.)
Sorry if i was mistaken... In our venue site it's says that your team will get 1 Ordinary Day for the tournament if your playing with theme, 1 Re-roll per 4 characters and 1+ to starting throw per 4 characters....
As Harpua said, it's not an Ordinary Day. You just ignore it. All your other opponents in the game are still affected by it.
It's one use of Probability Control per 3 characters, not 4. A character on your force is required to take an action token each time this application of PC is used.
It's +1 per character on your force to the who-goes-first roll, not per 4 characters.
Sounds like your Judge nerfed the smack out of it.

Has this been FAQ'd? The rule book says you can cancel a BFC once per "game" which has led my venue to believe that means every match and not just once per tournament. I always assumed it really meant tourny but without a rules clarification somewhere official, I am not sure I'll be able to convince my venue.
The rulebooks aren't published specifically for tournaments. When it says "game", it means just that. Once per "game". From the time you roll your who-goes-first dice to the time someone is declared a winner is one game. Each game in a tournament occurs within a round so every tournament has multiple games.

Okay. I just read the FAQ and I understand this now. Every "battle" is the word it uses, so my venue has been doing it correctly. Wow, nice bonus for theme teams.
Not that Heroclix has ever confused anyone with odd wording of a rule
