So, I just picked up a Zombie Hulk (thank you, ElevenBee.) Only played him once, so far, and it went well.

I want to address a few things, here:
What are his strongest strengths, and how do you play to them?
His opening defense numbers, the Flurry/Steal Energy combo, damage values, number of Invulnerability clix, and his ability to take it on the chin and give it right back seem to be the main reasons to field him.
Obviously, you want to get him in someone's face with a heavy. But, I think you don't push to attack. Make them deal with the 18 Inv, and, when they do, you'll almost always be ready to Steal Energy, possibly back up to the 18, so they have to deal with it again.
Which feats are appropriate for him?
I don't play Protected much, and I almost never run Fortitude, but I think they're both awesome for him. Fort because I want you to have to deal with all of that Invuln, and I don't want you stopping the Steal Energy. Protected to keep him in that first round of Steal Energy, which has the potential to get him back to the top.
What other figs/types of figs complement him?
Other than your basic taxi/TK/range support for bricks, I just don't know.
Other thoughts?
I'd really like to brainstorm this. He's a monster, but I think he requires specific elements to really shine. I suppose that makes him a finesse piece, but I can't put that word in the same sentence as 'zombie.'
6 of his 8 clicks qualify for And Stay Down! which is good for its points, especially with Defiance. Man I hope their is a comparably awesome zombie hulk in M&M. The old ones are just so much $$.
I played him with Ghost Widow and found it worked pretty well. She can pull him out of danger and heal him when his defense gets low. He needs some range back up. To help him finish people off and offer range support.
You will NEED movement in some form, as his MV is dismal. Likewise, you'll want to use (sigh) Protected to make sure he doesn't get nailed. 18 DV with Inv is great, but no so much if he's knocked off of it. I've lost a Zombie Hulk in one turn in the past, so its something to watch out for.
Longest-Reigning Drunken HeroClix Champion - anyone got a liver?
The other thing you can do is use sidekick feat card and use a pc like domino to help you out there. I used her, w/the card w/the 2099 hulk and it worked very good. The other ideas mentioned above are all excellent too. That combo w/others won me a foom.
Let the good times roll up in the air . Me hulk me smash!!! Looking forward to another hulk that will be iin the front of my team as the crusher!!!
Zombie Hulk has never lost a game for me. The best thing to do for him is let him go without feats, keeping his cost down. He's effective with or without a TKer and I'll tell you why. With 2/3 of your team being other figs, you'll want to play other harrassers that run in and tie up your opponent. Keep Hulk in the back, but just close enough that he can move in. You'll see that you're opponent kinda freeks out about him being there and will keep back a bit. Nitpick him until he finally slips up and moves close enough to move Hulk in with an object to base the tent pole of the other team. Immediately push him the next turn to hit. It's a good idea to have prob on your team, this helps with Hulk hitting and others missing him. You've now, hopefully crippled the main attacker on the opponent's team and Hulk is free to push away and deal damage and heal at the same time.
This usually works best on maps with choke points, so Hulk can hide behind Stealth or something else to deny a line of fire to him. Play a creeping advance, forcing your opponent to close the gap, saving you most of the work. It's best to have a good ranged attacker that can harrass from the back lines as well. Just make sure to leave the back lines open enough to move Hulk and others around, and you'll see your opponent bunch himself up in preparation to attack. Once Hulk is engaged it's usually easy for him to move fig to fig to mop up while you can still ping away with your other figs.
It's not an easy game plan, but it never lost for me.
I have full Zombie set, for Hulk i would put Nanobots and ICwO.... He's a good piece even without any back up Feats. Don't slap too many Feats on him though, that will make him more unuseful which you don't want...
i say use him n stardust w icwo n protected...waitaminute... you did that already...n my awesome aquatic teams swimmin w the fishies. but like the maffia mean it...not like literally...
question; what happens when zulk is hangin out w
