Your question does have some validity, though, as it is similar to a question frequently asked.
Lex Luthor (WC) is on a team with "The Parademon" (SS). "The Parademon" is the only figure on the team with the SS TA.
Luthor copies the SS TA.
"The Parademon" is next to Luthor and gets KOed.
Does Luthor get healed or does he no longer have the TA because the source has been KOed?
The answer is that he does heal.
Page 16: "A wild card retains its most recently used team ability until it uses another team ability, chooses not to use a team ability, or until after the resolution of an action during which all characters whose team ability the wild card is using are defeated or removed from the battlefield."
how does SS TA work if both adjacent characters are dealt damage that would KO both of them,....
IE Ultimate Thor dual targets and splits the damage so that both SS TA characters are KOed. would one be healed, then take the damage? or are they both KOed?

Damage is dealt simultaneously, then healing is applied. In your example, both figures would be KOed and no one would get to heal.
Sorry to dig up an old thread but how does the healing work.
Spidey is on his last clix. Superman punches him for 4 damage. Next to spidey is his teammate with the squad ability. Dice are rolled and the result is a 5 - 2 = 3.
Is Spidey dead or is he on his 3rd from the last clix?

Spider-Man is KOd. It is the character using the Suicide Squad team ability that gets the healing.
From the Blackest Night PAC:
Quote
SUICIDE SQUAD: When a friendly character adjacent to a character using the Suicide Squad team ability is KO’d, roll a d6 and subtract 2 from the result, minimum result 1. After the action is resolved, if this character is not KO’d, it is healed of damage equal to the result.
